As someone who has spent nearly a decade on the East Coast and loves New England-style Chinese food, I had spent my first years here in Tucson trying to find that unique flavor without any luck.
Well, it’s been a few years now since I located this place and have to say this spot serves up the real deal, and it’s been my favorite since relocating!
The boneless spare ribs are rich, flavorful, and perfectly glazed. Beef teriyaki skewers are tender and packed with bold taste that pairs nicely with their fried rice and egg rolls always served hot.
The staff is incredibly friendly and always happy to make recommendations that never miss. And while the outside might not catch your eye right away, step inside and you’ll find a clean, inviting space with a surprisingly nice aesthetic.

My husband read a review that said this restaurant was a hidden gem. That review was absolutely 100% correct. We loved it!! We had: Vegetable Springs Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Wonton Soup, Moo Sho Vegetables, Hunan Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. Every dish was delicious, fresh and made to order. Give it a try! We will definitely be going back!

Hidden GEM alert! Very grateful that our waitress was knowledgeable on Gluten free items as she was able to make accommodations for what I was hoping to order. I got the honey walnut shrimp, steamed instead of fried, and WOW. SO YUMMY Food was fast, very fresh, well portioned & reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! (I already want more!)

People in a Facebook group recommended Panda One for the best Fried Rice, so I decided to try it – and it was okay – not good, not bad, I don’t think I will ever find good Fried Rice in Tucson. I also ordered the BBQ Spare Ribs – they were too sweet for me.

Panda one is better than the other Chinese restaurants and between the taste, portions, and price, you can’t beat it. Today was my first try, and I got the general tzo’s chicken dinner with three crab rangoon and a spring roll for $12 after tax. And it still has my mouth watering! And I have more than enough for lunch tomorrow!
