I placed my order through the drive thru at 5:30. I was told to park and they’d bring it out. About 10 minutes later a girl came out and said they had just dropped our chicken sandwiches and it would be 7 more minutes. At 6 pm I went inside and and was finally handed my food at 6:04. As she was handing it to me she said, “At least they’re fresh!” They weren’t. Everything was cold. Definitely not right out of the fryer. I also found a small bone in my chicken sandwich. I’m not usually one to complain but this was an overall very bad experience and I will not be going back.

Came in tonight 12-23-25. The staff was very friendly and very professional. My food was out within a few mins. The girl takeing my order said this was her first day. She did a wonderful job. My food was nice and hot and my wife was very satisfied with her pot pie. We called a few before we got here to see if they could make her a fresh pot pie and they did not disappoint. My hot wings were nice and fresh as well as my wedges. I will 100% be back to this location. Thank you to the 2 lady’s and 2 guys working tonight you did an awesome job.

I made a purchase on 1-22-2025 at around 7:30 pm or so they took roughly 40 minutes to bring my order out my order was $82 I ordered 2 -12 piece family meals and then the 1 family chicken was not cooked completely it was still raw and I didnt get my sides for both family meals and not to mention when I arrived at the drive through they told me that the fryers was down for cleaning and that it would be around 20 minutes and it was over 40 minutes and then got it home and it was raw I called the store and I spoke to the manager and she stated she would Wright my name down for the replacement order I had to go out of town for a family emergency and so when I returned to salem on 01-31-2025 I went went back to the kfc I and I told them I was their to get my replacement I was called a lier and that they dont believe I spoke to anyone about it and I even showed them my receipt they said they dont replacement big orders but that is ok because I will be speaking with Chris the c.e.o this evening for yum and I will be speaking to Mrs alice both of witch are very nice people I know them personally I am very disappointed in the customer service and the sad thing was the general manager was their this evening after she started a huge argument about how she didnt believe me I stated that is ok I will be speaking with both of the franchise owners and she said if you know them then who are they I stated you should know them and she said well I will replace your chicken at that point I didnt want anything she had after being called a lier.

Placed order at 7:41 had to sit in parking lot and wait for 20 mins even tho other people after me got food right away. this kfc needs new team members I wish I could go here more but it’s ridiculous I have ro wait 20 mins. Team members are not nice and not well trained while waiting for order could see them from drive thru window just talking not even in a hurry for my order kfc needs to fix this right away

I’d have to get the food first. Both times I’ve been here during the past week have been AWFUL. It’s been over half an hour every time, instead of taking care of current customers that you’ve got let’s take more cars and forget about all of them. I’ve waited an hour for food along with 5 drive through customers. Here’s a picture of my food!

Placed an order in the app and paid for a local delivery service. When the driver gets there they have no chicken… At KFC. (Since I placed the order a little over an hour before closing I would assume they had no cooked chicken) He asked for a refund but they were unsure of how to do a refund. They talk the driver into taking substitutes. They send him with something not even close to equivalent and something in extra crispy that a disability will not allow me to eat. They didn’t include other items that was supposed to been there, the biscuits were hockey pucks the fries were hard and cold little crumbs from the bottom of the bin, and the gravy was missing. The instant potatoes were spot on though. This was all the money I had on hand so there was no other dinner to be had. Hungry tummies all around. The delivery driver would not have even taken this junk had they had known how to refund. he was apologetic when he was pulling in the driveway because he knew this was unacceptable but they wouldn’t work with him. They threw in a cake though, too bad I don’t eat sweets, and so many people can’t…. So I have a message out to kfc we shall see if customer service is anymore helpful that the staff at the store. Update to follow!

“Well I found out what the secret ingredient is in the secret recipe fries, it’s hair!!!! It took 3 tries to get my order correct. This is after sitting and waiting on it for 15 minutes after paying. Then find a hair in the bottom of my fries. You know when I only have 2 fries left. About as bad as finding a half a in your …. Makes me wonder if I ate some hair too?”

Went to get dinner at KFC in Salem for my mother’s birthday. Upon arrival, at 5:45pm, I try to enter the restaurant, only to find the dining room locked. So I went to the drive through to place my order of a 12 piece meal. I was told they had no original ready and it would be 15 minutes or so. I said fine I would wait as I needed to go do something else as well. I was told that when I returned just to let them know. I went to the north door just west of the drive through. Not expecting to get in but to be handed my food as they had acknowledged me at the drive up window and had a line. Sitting inside the door area was 3 employees who one decided to yell at me that the dining room was closed. Very rude, and now I had a pretty good count that there was at 6 employees in the store. Plenty to have the store open for ordering in. Upon getting my chicken and opening the bucket I discovered what I had been given. Nasty old chrispy at the bottom. The pictures show that I didn’t get the same type nor chicken that was cooked at the same time. I’m sure that at least 12 pieces were fixed in my fresh batch and should have recieved 12 fresh pieces I had waited for. I will be stopping at Yum in Louisville to make a complaint. The manager has been rude in dealing in the past and I won’t waste my time with him again.
