You do not have to travel to State College for Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream. You can get it at Little Dippers on Main Street in Mt Joy. Pup cups are currently free 10/2/2025 for reference.

Cute ice cream shop and very good flavors! They have Penn State ice cream and their own hand dropped dipped flavors. I really enjoyed their sticky bun flavor! And I highly recommend the death by chocolate flavor.
There’s also a drive thru, some seating outside, and a walk up window to order. And service was friendly. Great place overall!

Very good ice cream! They also have Penn State Creamery ice cream and dairy free ice cream. I got the small dairy free chocolate peanut butter and it was very good. My daughter got a small dairy free raspberry with a chocolate dipped waffle cone, my son got a vanilla milkshake and my husband got a chocolate mix-in with butterfinger. We all thoroughly enjoyed our treats!! The scoops are large, so a small cone was enough for me. Will definitely come back.

Little Dipper’s is a great little spot for ice cream. On my first visit they had 9 different flavors of ice cream from the Penn State Berkey Creamery. The service was fantastic and you could sample any flavor before choosing. We had the Sticky Bun which was delicious and sweet. Also tried the Peanut Butter Swirl which was also very good.

Pleasant little stand. We clearly haven’t been out for ice cream in a long time. $16 for 2 small cones, tasty, but yikes. One big negative, no way to wash hands after ice cream melts all over you. No restroom at a food place with seating seems odd. Must be a PA zoning thing. I understand business owner benefit, but not very welcoming.

The staff is fast and friendly. My son and I got milkshakes from our choice of ice cream. My wife loves the Penn State Death by Chocolate and my youngest enjoys his twist in a dish. 5/5! We will definitely be back again and again.

This ice cream is either average or below average for the price. I would rather get an entire pint of Tillamook at the grocery store for the same price and better taste and texture. Quite disappointed

This is a cute outdoorsy place. The ice cream is delicious! Although be prepared for a little bit higher price for ice cream. My kids enjoyed it and there are tables to sit at right outside. I believe there was even a drive-thru.
