Long time customer but unfortunately I think they lost us tonight. We have been enjoying el sol for years since we moved to Lebanon. They’ve increased in price and gone down in portions over those years but we understood with the economy and liked supporting a small business. Tonight I ordered Nachos and live 3 min down the street and figured I’d be home in time to enjoy them before they got soggy. Well their whole pay system wasn’t working. After the workers spent 5+ min trying to figure it out themselves they called the owner. I had hoped the owner would tell them to just let me take my food but instead another 8-10min goes by. When they finally get it figured out, they don’t offer to cover anything on my meal. I was frustrated but was just going to let it go until I saw they charged me for the queso on my nachos…. I asked the lady and she said they always charge for queso. Except I said it’s nachos and thought nachos would come with the cheese and her response was “is this your first time here? We always charge for cheese.” So I got to enjoy cold soggy nachos tonight. Will be the last time for a while.

This is the best Mexican food I have had in the Southeast. Be sure to stop if you’re on your way to Nashville or if your leaving Nashville on your way back East. This gem is easy to get to from I-40 and will not disappoint. Great options for vegetarians and vegans too. What are you waiting for… STOP AND EAT YOU SILLY GOOSE!

Wonderful restaurant. A bit like subway or Chipotle, but way better. You have it your way. I got nachos and they prepared it in front of me. I chose the rice, beans and meat I wanted and added other toppings and salsas I wanted. The staff was incredibly kind and easygoing. Not to mention the beautifully unique interior design and clean restroom. We’ll definitely visit again the next time we’re in town from Atlanta

Read the reviews before we came. Yes it can be a level-up Chipotle with our chicken bowls but we liked it in its own charm. They are tasty. We came on siesta time but we had a really good meal. Very flling as the portion size is large, and we’re taking some (hotel) home for a light dinner later. One has a choice on how spicy you can choose your dressing but we go for non-spicy. The shrimp cocktail was a cold soup version with avocado slices. Free nachos and salsa comes with pur lunch. The place is open, airy, spacious and the restrooms are very pretty and clean. The biggest come on for us is the seafood option of fish, oysters, shrimp and vegetables on the menu.

Had a great first experience. Staff was really friendly. I got shredded chicken because the plain chicken and steak looked like it was lacking seasoning. The shredded chicken was outstanding, he said it was seasoned with tomato, pepper and onion. I had it in a burrito, my husband had a chorizo bowl and said the chorizo itself was very good. Also many Pico options with different levels of heat. Salsa was delicious had a bit of heat to it as well which was nice. Didn’t try dessert but there was about 3 different options that looked good. Pepsi products on fountain, which always makes my day.

Delicious food whether you get something from the “menu” or the build your own option. The Ceviche Vallarta is some of the best ceviche I’ve had. The few times I have been it was more than enough food. Definitely recommend stopping in and trying it out.

I had a hunch the food would be good here so I went for it without reading any reviews! It was awesome! Big portion (2 meals for me!) plus a drink and a little side of chips and salsa for just over $13. Granted, I paid with a card and there’s a 3.25% fee for card charges… so that’s a downside. I’ll make sure and have cash next time. They did list on the front door that prices on Menu are cash prices and they list the fee for using a card. The decor inside was nice, big and spacious as well. They have an extensive menu you can order form or you can do their “express” which is a subway-style make your own burrito or bowl. They have a wider variety of fillings and salsas than Chipotle! I got their mixed? rice. Not sure what it was called but it looked like it had slivers of peppers in it. Chunk chicken, queso, pico, medium salsa and a little bit of sour cream. Their medium salsa is a true medium heat- thankfully! I also had their Hibiscus drink as well. Something I’d not seen available since I lived on the border and it was amazing!! The salsa the give you in the little cup to go with the chip tasted odd- a bit like V8 I think… Suggestions: Update to where you don’t have to charge for card purchases, fix toilet so we can flush TP (bathrooms are very clean though!), and put a sign up so we know where to order. I sure didn’t know and a lady who came in after me didn’t know either! Other than that I totally would go back any time we’re near!
