I took my family there tonight for dinner… do not be fooled by appearance. It looks like an average pizzeria with a little coffee bar to the side, however, the food was anything but average. The owner was there, prepping the food himself, everything is made from scratch/to order. The shrimp were fresh, marinara was flavorful, chicken was tender and the pizza was delicious. For those who stated they had to wait, it’s because your food wasn’t thrown from a freezer into a deep fryer. I’d wait for a fresh meal any day. Will definitley be back!

After reading the reviews I had to try the rice balls and penne. I also had the chicken club sandwich with the tossed salad. Food was ok. Told me it would take 15 minutes for pick up, got there 30 minutes later still had to wait 15 more minutes and they were EMPTY. Also $29 for a sandwich and 3 rice balls no thanks

il piatto is a fantastic place to go for great Italian cuisine. The vodka sauce is to die for and it is especially delicious with the rice balls. If you are in a lighter mood the tuna is outstanding. Make sure you enjoy a nice cappuccino after dinner.
