Over priced for the quality and portion size. On my visit I asked if they serve tongue. The lady at the counter said yes so I ordered a tongue torta. The price was higher as expected, but when I got down the road and began to eat I realized they had just given me regular beef on a sub roll that was half the size of a torta served anywhere else. I would have expected this meal to cost $8 tops not $15. These guys should take lessons from El Encantador Taqueria over in Raeford!

Melecios employees tone was off putting and rude when I politely called to ask if they had cameras on their building that have the angle of viewing the intersection due to me getting tboned by a drunk driver at the 4 way stop directly in front of their establishment last week. This is my first serious accident so I don’t know who to ask other than the ones with the actual camera. So I asked. They seemed offended that I was asking what I would have to do to obtain a copy of the footage. They wouldn’t specify how I could do that. Then they proceeded to hang up on me before finishing the conversation. Is there something wrong with me wanting footage of my own accident? No. And you could’ve been way more polite. And simply just refused with a ‘we don’t share our footage’ Thanks for zero assistance. Be safe and avoid this intersection for the clear risk of drunk drivers and collisions.

I was really looking forward to eating Melecios in Shannon for my fall break, but unfortunately, the service left me disappointed. When I walked in around 12 P.M. (lunchtime), the music was so loud that I could barely hear the waitress. When I ordered the ACP, I made sure to clarify that I wanted the lunch portion since it was lunchtime. Instead of simply confirming, the waitress gave me an attitude and said, “Next time you need to tell me,” in a very rude tone.
As a customer, I think it would’ve been much more helpful if she had just asked, “Do you want the lunch ACP or the regular ACP?” rather than making me feel like I did something wrong. To make matters worse, she told me it would take 20 minutes, but the food came out in 5–6 minutes — which made it seem like she was exaggerating just to be difficult.
The food itself was fine, but the customer service really ruined the experience for me. Good service makes such a big difference, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

Saw it on a Facebook post and decided to try it. Very good. Worth the 45 minute wait. Place is small. I would suggest ordering ahead for take out. We had the pineapple stuffed. The steak was thin sliced and fried a little crispy. The salas and cheese dip were very good.
