My 1st time patronizing this establishment and I ordered rib tips and a 3 meat dinner( chicken, rib tips, spicy polish) with coleslaw, baked beans and greens. The rib tips were somewhat tender but on the dry side and the chicken was very dry as well. He should have had some apple juice inside the pans to keep the meat moist since they were just sitting in a warmer box. The coleslaw was horrible! The greens, baked beans and spicy polish were on point. Hopefully, he sees this and uses the constructive criticism pertaining to the rib tips and chicken.

Food was great!! Ordered the Charlie p special 3 meats one side. I got the pulled pork, rib tips, spare ribs, and Mac and cheese. Everything was great portions were great not skimpy on the meat at all. Macaroni was nice and creamy. I also ordered the potatoe salad it’s definitely a must try. There was a 15 to 20 min wait but that’s what’s expected for quality foods. Will definitely be going back. Better then Speed queen from price to portions to flavor.

I called and asked if i could place an order for pickup. She said yes i proceed with my order. She just said see you when you get here. So i set a 20 min timer. I show up. Wait almost 5 mins to even be spoken to with me being the only person in there. Finally I tell her I called the order. She proceed to recall the order then tells me it will take 15 mins. Thats fine. I wait 25 more mins. The 2 people behind me that ordered got their food before i did. I was at the restaurant for an hour waiting. Then i get home and our food was wrong. Never again.

The food was delicious. I ordered the Slab Dinner. It came with two sides. I had collard greens and the Mac and cheese. I felt like I got my monies worth and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was spotless! There is seating to enjoy your meal inside, but I ordered to go. The owner was very pleasant. I don’t think he believed me when I said I would write a review, Lol. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

I came in as a door dasher, the man behind the counter was working alone on my order as well as a group of about 7 people. The group got tired of waiting and started a big commotion.. the man behind the counter handled it the best way he could before asking them to leave due to their constant rude behavior.. I wish I would have gotten his name, he was a good man and people need to understand that when you come to a place like this you’re not getting fast frozen food.. good food takes time to prepare.. although I haven’t tried the food yet myself I do plan on returning to do so.. the place smelled amazing! this place is clean with a large screen TV in the seating area.. definitely would recommend it to try out based on my experience this far..

Honestly the first one or two times I went was amazing portions was amazing meat was great ! But this last time I was so disappointed. The portion was so small before it was generous so getting less was fine but it was not worth the money atp . I paid the same price but got one less side and barely any meat . It made me sad because before I recommended this place but not if they can’t be consistent . (The picture was after I ate about two pieces )

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this BBQ restaurant. I had ordered through Ubereats and my Mom & I thought we’d try the rib tips buy 1 get 1 free special they had going on. The taste of tips was okay (could have probably done without the sauce) but the amount we received was a rip-off. The two orders combined weren’t even enough for one order of tips. So the old “bait & switch.” You’re really not getting an extra dinner for free.
One of the positives I can say is that whoever the lady was that had answered the phone when I called before placing the order was extremely polite and patient.
The side of macaroni and cheese I had ordered as well, my Mom said it was pretty good. And their prices for sides are really reasonable. $3.50 and they did fill the container up all the way. So that’s a plus. Overall, though, it’s just a turn off when restaurants skimp out on the portions that they give. Nowadays food costs are too high to be stingy.

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The rib tips were flavorful with a nice smoke to them, falling off the bone with every bite. I also enjoyed the grilled chicken wings, which had the perfect char to them. You won’t be disappointed if you eat here!

My first time going there was yesterday. I can say the food was fabulous! The macaroni and cheese and collard greens excellent! I also ordered the ribs and the meatballs they were out of meatballs and so they substitute it with the brisket instead the ribs and especially the brisket was excellent! I will be letting others know about this place! Highly recommended!
