I was recommended by friend who tried their skewers when they were still selling it from the truck. She said it was so good I must try. To be honest, I was very disappointed. The food here was mediocre. The sauce was sweet and good until you get too much of it and it starts feeling a bit too flavorful. The meat skewers had a weird taste to it. Like they had less meat and more flour. If I had to pick, the best would be the eggplant because it came out hot and fresh. Chewy on the outside and soft after the bite.
Small store with quite a few seating. The staff were pretty nice. Price is also good and cheap like $2-$3 for skewers.

I visit here usually. One of my favourite fried skewer places. Very authentic and delicious fried skewer! I like their sauce very much! Highly recommend their malatang! I can tell it is the best in LA! Must try!!!! I love chicken bone too! Very affordable Chinese street food restaurant!

Another skewer place, with the same mix of spices, where you conveniently scan and order online. What’s gonna set this place apart? Honestly not much… They have something called a “Jelly egg” which is pretty much a 皮蛋 that was forced into a box. Prices aren’t too bad.

The place is clean, and the restroom is also quite clean without that unpleasant smell you often find in many restaurants.
Their sauces are on the sweeter side, which I’m not a big fan of since I don’t really like sweet sauces. Also, the food is clearly pre-made. The chicken cutlet came out a bit cold on the outside and only warm on the inside. As for the fried rice, I’m not sure if it was microwaved, but it didn’t feel freshly stir-fried.

Last Friday after work, my friend and I decided to check out this fried skewer place. Vegetable skewers are only $1 per skewer, and beef and chicken skewers are only $10 for 8 skewers! The meat is just a little over $1 per skewer – seriously, the prices are unbelievable! Worth to go after the work.

The special 串燒sandwich is juicy crispy and full of flavor and not even $10. An excellent street food place.
