They seen to do a lot of mobile orders so there was a bit of wait one or two of the times.
Had a terrible experience several months ago with a newer female manager who made my drink wrong but insisted that it was the way the drink was supposed to be made. I nicely said I’ve ordered this same drink for the past couple years and it was never this empty, never once. It was an $8 drink and when I said it’s normally a bit fuller idk if it normally has more milk or ice or something? (it was literally only to the bottom line of the cup!) she rudely said “well THIS is how it’s supposed to be made!! So if it’s not like this then MY workers are doing it wrong and I’m going to have to have a talk with them!!!” I asked if I could have a little more milk at a least and she said “nope the best I can do and I really even shouldn’t to this would be to add a little more ice” So I got more ice and said to myself as I walked out, that’s it, never going here again. And I didn’t for over 6 months. Was out shopping the other day and needed some caffeine. I decided to give it a try again. Same woman was working in there (talking loudly about her personal issues she was having) different barista made my drink.. this was my $8 drink (pic) used stars for the cold foam. It was literally only up to the second line! I asked politely if I could get a little more ice (knowing they’d never give me milk) and she scoffed and rudely threw some ice in. This time sealed the deal for me. Never ever will I spend another penny there. I hear they are super great at the Sussex location. From
the looks of other reviews left, I’m not the only one that has had rude and terrible service here.
The store could certainly use some cleaning in the customer-facing areas. The bathroom had (unused) toilet paper squares on the floor and the toilet could use a little wipe (I came at 8am, so one would think it should be clean first thing in the morning). The floors are naturally dirty for the winter season, but the entry windows were poorly washed with water spots all over. The two open small tables had crumbs on them. The window sill next to table I selected also had crumbs, and the window had a streaks from drink spills. Attention to cleanliness details is the reason this Starbucks doesn’t get a 5 star review.
bag eith my name. I’ve had previous experiences with their boxes missing any labels or stamps showing “best by” dates while the apples or fruit inside were discolored and beginning to (if not already) spoiled.
Today I ordered the egg box, and thankfully did not get to the eggs before finding the spoiled contents.
There is once again no stamp for a date on the package. The cheese inside is molded with white spots and tasted bad (this was my first item I bit into, assuming the white was from the raisin bread it was squished into), the apple slices are browning with very soft/squishy middles, and the clementine skin is dried out with visible rot spots and filmy residue.
I would like to say this is a fluke, but as I mentioned previously, this is not the first time I received a box with bad/spoiled items inside. Not sure if this is the store itself not being diligent about checking the food in the cooler or if this falls on the packing agents who did not date the packs or check the food quality inside.
Frustrated that my only food plan for work was rotten, but shame on me for not checking these things before leaving for work. I’ll survive on the risky piece of bread and the safely sealed peanut butter. Everything else is too sketchy to risk food poisoning while 7 months pregnant.
