Hands down, from a lifelong local, my favorite bakery in all of Washington!
If you are looking for slap-worthy avocado toast, mouthwatering croissants and salmon sandwiches, search no further. I am not even a pastry kind of girl, but this spot my exception!

Fantastic place for fresh baked goods and breakfast / lunch items. Stopped in and got the bacon, egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich on an English muffin….EGGSELENT!!! Also got the BLT. The tomatoes were so fresh and juicy. The sandwich had a great homemade crusty bread with amazing homemade sauces. Also got the gorge berry bar. You MUST get this! So yummy. Also got a blueberry muffin…it was so fresh, big blueberries and not overly sweet…just perfectly sweet. Finally, we got the chocolate chip oat cookie. So tasty and filling! Everything is fresh and made in house. Place was clean with friendly staff. You will love it!

This place was an excellent spot for breakfast. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the sweet peas inside.

The coffee wasn’t to my taste, but overall, I had a great time. The patio seating was great, offering a beautiful view of the mountains.

Gem. Excellent find and repeat visits during our stay. Nothing disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was a big hit as were all the pastries and cookies. Highly recommend even with a small wait. Line moved quickly and starts before the doors open.

This is our second visit to the bakery. Last trip was for lunch and the sandwiches are amazing. This trip was for breakfast. Also amazing. The cardamom buns are great and the deluxe breakfast sandwich is also great. Last rip we bought a loaf of theor rustic sourdough and it was fantastic. Great service and atmosphere.

Very nice café in the town of White Salmon. They have a big selection of pastries and a nice assortment of sandwiches. They also have people making dough right in the shop. Nice amount of seating inside and outside. The first time we went here we ordered a double chocolate chip cookie, cardamom bun, chocolate olive oil cake, sandwich, and a huge salad. They also have pizza night on Monday’s. The prices are really good and you’ll be happy with your meal. Highly recommend this place. They also have stickers if you like to collect those.

This hopping place is packed with locals and visitors at nearly any hour they are open. Wholesome food, generous portions, changing soup and sandwich specials. We over-ordered. The bowls of soup are big with bread on the side and the cookies are ginormous. We saved the sandwich with chips that we intended to share for our next day’s lunch. Everything tastes absolutely delicious. It can be a little hard to find seating given the popularity.

White Salmon Baking Co. is our absolute favorite bakery! We discovered WSBC on our first trip to Hood River, and when we decided to get married nearby we knew we needed them to cater for us. We catered pastries and baked goods for our wedding weekend breakfast event, and everything was such a huge hit with our guests. We ordered cardamom buns, cinnamon rolls, both sweet and savory croissants, coffee cake, almond cake, and blueberry polenta cake. Everything was so tasty, but the blueberry polenta cake and the cardamom buns are particular favorites!

Everything we ate here was lovely and delicious. Fun to watch bread being made. If you are super hungry order 2x, portions are small. Seating can be competitive when it’s busy.
