Id like to thank the employees here for doing their job and putting more ice in my cup than actual coffee. It was amazing, I actually got to finish my coffee just 2 minutes down the road. After about 4 sips, it was gone! Now I dont have to enjoy my coffee anymore.
I even asked for LESS ICE. Im just amazed at all the employees, keep up all your hard work and not fulfilling orders like they should be. I know its tough.

I am writing to formally raise a concern about the Dunkin’ location at 380 Coleman St in New London CT, which—based on repeated visits—has become the single worst-performing Dunkin’ I have personally experienced.

I am a retail store manager with over a decade of leadership experience. I understand labor constraints, training challenges, and operational pressure. This is not a labor-shortage issue, nor is it a one-off bad interaction. What I am describing is a clear breakdown in leadership standards and accountability that is actively driving customers away.

During a recent visit, the closing lead on duty was openly irate with multiple customers while training a new employee. She was visibly overwhelmed, verbally sharp, and repeatedly motioned at customers to “hurry up” while taking orders. At one point, she made unsolicited and inappropriate remarks toward me regarding food I had purchased elsewhere, followed by a sarcastic comment that crossed into outright hostility. This behavior was not subtle, and it was not isolated.

On a subsequent visit, simply hearing the same employee’s voice at the drive-thru was enough for me to leave without ordering.

This location is two minutes from my home and directly on my commute. Despite that convenience, I will not return. I now go out of my way to purchase coffee elsewhere—even from a competitor whose product I like less—because the experience at this Dunkin’ is actively unpleasant. That is not a decision customers make lightly, and it is not one they reverse easily.

The root issue here is not staffing volume; it is staffing quality and leadership tolerance. Customers can immediately tell when a store manager does not enforce standards or address poor behavior. When that happens, trust erodes, traffic declines, and the brand pays the price—quietly at first, then all at once.

This location needs intervention: leadership accountability, retraining, or replacement—whatever is necessary to restore basic professionalism and customer respect. Left unaddressed, this will continue to cost you repeat business from customers who would otherwise be loyal.

I am sharing this because it is fixable. But it requires caring—and acting—at the management level.

Respectfully,
Nick

I ordered through Uber eats. I selected a large iced latte with extra flavoring and less ice and the latte wasn’t all the way up to the top of the cup. Beyond that I had requested non-toasted as in the croissants won’t be toasted because I don’t believe anywhere in the world people are expecting to get cold eggs. Whoever’s in here does not have any common sense. I additionally did not get a straw to drink my coffee with.

I asked for a small decaf coffee, what I received was a small cup of decaf coffee ground for me to make it all at home instead. Ridiculous. This is the 3rd time. Why waste my money here at this point, I’m better off going to McDonald’s. They contact me, apologize and say they’ll send me a gift card for the inconvenience but never receive it…Like EEVVERR!!

Went through the drive-thru waited 10 minutes to get the wrong order and was told it was correct Read the bag, when I read the bag it said that the order I ordered was correct and the person making the sandwich couldn’t read it or didn’t. They said they would remake it And when they brought the second order out with the correct sandwich it was burnt now we have melted coffees and cold food on the other side of things and I will never frequent this dunking again except to maybe get a replacement sandwich for my friend who couldn’t eat it

Multiple visits I’ve been treated rudely with no apparent pretext for said treatment, long waits and unfriendly staff. Of the many times I’ve frequented this store I’ve been treated well only a handful of times, overshadowed by the usual service I and my friends receive.

I ordered my coffee with cold foam. It’s on the label but not in the drink. With the price of these coffee drinks it should at least be made correctly.
