Tong Sui began with a simple feeling: comfort. In Cantonese culture, tong sui isn’t just a dessert—it’s a ritual. A warm bowl shared at the end of the day. Something gentle, nourishing, and made with care. It’s food meant to slow you down, make you feel good, and bring people together. That spirit is at the heart of everything we do.

Came here for desserts after dinner and this hot the spot! I ordered the Nutty Noir and if you’re a fan of the Converse Black Sesame candy, this tastes just like that. So good! Highly recommend!

Honestly, I’m really upset about this.

I ordered three coconut puddings to go, and they packed three glass bottles into a very thin paper bag with absolutely no protection. The bottles were still wet from the refrigerator, and they didn’t even bother to wipe them off before placing them in the bag. No padding, no separation — just three heavy glass containers in a flimsy paper bag.

When I got home and stepped out of my car, the bottom of the bag gave out. The glass bottles shattered all over my garage and the pudding spilled everywhere. It was a huge mess to clean up, and there was broken glass all over the floor. Thankfully, I didn’t get hurt.

This could have easily caused a serious injury. Proper packaging is basic common sense, especially when you’re using glass containers. Please be aware of their poor packaging and lack of care. I really hope they fix this before someone actually gets injured.

There are some delicious treats coming out of Tong Sui! The Lychee Pudding and Persimmon pudding were all 10/10 – very tasty.
Service was quick and efficient after ordering from the kiosk. The shop itself is super cute, inviting, and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your dessert. Definitely worth a visit.

Nicely fusion desert that’s coconut based. I would expect more coconut flavor (compare to 皇阿瑪 at LA). Service is ok and it has nice interior setup. I would rank Ube and Mango Mochi as my favorite.

This was our first time here and everything we ordered were so refreshing and delicious! Wife ordered the salted coco crunch and I got the mango sticky rice coco pudding. Not too sweet. (Not sweet enough for me but the wife loves it). Great atmosphere to hang out!

A Diverse Menu with Decent Quality
Tong Sui definitely stands out for its wide range of traditional and modern dessert options. From their signature coconut puddings to their various fruit-based treats and snacks, there is certainly a lot of variety to choose from. The food itself is decent and well-presented, offering a unique taste of authentic flavors that you don’t find at every dessert shop. If you are someone who doesn’t have any specific food requirements and can order straight off the menu without any changes, you will likely enjoy the flavors they provide. The quality of the ingredients seems high, and the textures of their puddings are consistently smooth and satisfying.

The Frustration of Zero Customization
However, the most significant drawback to this establishment is their extremely rigid policy regarding order modifications. There is absolutely no customization allowed on any of the items. This is a major hurdle for many diners, particularly in an era where most food and beverage shops are happy to accommodate slight adjustments. If you see a dish you like but need one small ingredient removed or swapped, you are essentially out of luck. This “take it or leave it” approach feels outdated and makes the ordering process much more stressful than it needs to be for a simple dessert outing.

Lack of Sympathy for Dietary Restraints
This lack of flexibility becomes a serious issue if you have dietary restraints or allergies. When I attempted to navigate the menu while keeping my dietary needs in mind, I found the staff to be quite dismissive. There didn’t seem to be much sympathy for the fact that some customers literally cannot eat certain ingredients for health reasons. Instead of offering helpful suggestions or trying to find a workaround, the attitude was very firm and lacked the kind of hospitality you would expect from a local business. It’s disappointing to feel like a burden simply for asking about ingredients or hoping for a minor modification to ensure a safe meal.

⚖️ Final Thoughts and Considerations
I am rating Tong Sui 4 stars on Google because the actual product is good and the menu is undeniably diverse. However, I have to provide a strong warning to anyone with allergies or specific dietary preferences: this may not be the place for you. The total lack of customization and the somewhat cold response to dietary concerns really drag down what should be a sweet experience. I hope the management considers becoming more inclusive in the future, as a little bit of sympathy and flexibility for their customers’ health needs would go a very long way.

Decent dessert. They don’t look like the photo.

We tried the strawberry matcha but we probably won’t get again. Only the green tea pudding taste strong. You can’t really taste the strawberry and the coconut was only ok.

Also they don’t give you any reward points for pudding. Boo
