I stopped in the other day to buy 5 dozen donuts, I didn’t call ahead because it was a spontaneous thing. The two guys working there sprang into action and did a great job of selecting an assortment and boxing them up. The donuts here are amazing, these are nothing like Tim H, or Dunk, these are bigger, more interesting, perfectly cooked and finished and taste much better than the chain stores.

Listen. If you were to ask me what I want my last meal on earth to be, it would 100% end with a slice of Servatii’s opera cream cake. It is very rich but is hands down my favorite cake I’ve ever had. In fact, there is very little that servatii doesn’t knock out of the park. Want sliced pretzels to go with one of their dips? You got it. Chicken salad so good that it sells out in no time at all? Check. A selection of delectable donuts and patisserie? Forgettaboutit. Lastly, let’s talk about the smell. Is there anything more divine than walking into a bakery? It’s all part of the experience here! Go experience this place with all your senses, you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped in on a Friday about an hour before closing, and was the sole customer. Three employees were moving pastries from the display cases to the back room, while ignoring me for several minutes (how hard is it to say “Hello-I’ll be right with you”?) Once they did serve me they behaved as if they were doing me a favor. I understand we all have bad days, but good customer service is easy to do and goes a long way. I stopped in because of Servatiis’ reputation for excellent pastries, but was disappointed by the poor customer service. I’m not compelled to return anytime soon.
