We went there to pick up several pizza’s for dinner. The “Tomate” tastes great with fresh tomato on it. You get garlic oil along with the pizza which is served on a wooden plate. The pizza dough was not too thick and crispy. Overall decent, somewhat expensive.

The food is actually very good. Had the Hawaiian pizza, chicken parm sandwich and the spaghetti with meat sauce(takeout). also a few Margarita pizza slices. Really good prices, good food, good portion size. This place should be busy, based on why a restaurant is a restaurant, but it’s not a trendy, boho style spot. But check it out, and you will enjoy!

It’s bombass, surfer pizza, super fast, super good if you’re Irie. This is old school Mal Pais, before all the influencers poured in, in their white clothes.

Awesome pizza! But they also serve lot of other things such pasta, sea food and beverages. Great place and customer service, owned by south americans ( I think one guy was from Uruguay). They accept AMEX cards, which is nice. Food quality is very good and prices are fair. You can have pizza for two ( 4 slides each) for 5000mil colones ($9) if you are on a budget.. thats not bad.
