From the moment we stepped into this hidden gem of a restaurant, we were greeted with a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we were comfortably seated and promptly presented with menus filled with an impressive range of tempting dishes. With so much variety on offer, choosing what to order was a delight in itself.

We began our meal with crisp poppadoms served alongside a selection of flavourful chutneys and a perfectly balanced chilli sauce, adding just the right amount of spice to awaken the palate. Our starters soon followed, and each dish was packed with rich, vibrant flavours that showcased the care and skill behind the cooking.

Throughout the evening, the service remained exceptional, with the team always on hand without being intrusive, making sure everything was just right. The mocktails were a real highlight – refreshing, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Although the restaurant does not serve alcohol, the option to bring your own drinks alongside their excellent mocktails is a thoughtful touch that enhances the overall experience.

Honestly the best for fresh food.. the lamb shank is out of this world. Every dish is to be fair. They have updated the place recently and is really homely and welcoming. Staff are absolutely brilliant and always so polite ! Lucky for us we live round the corner but if your visiting please give them a go you won’t be disappointed !

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Qurashi Indian Restaurant in Romiley near Stockport — and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel right at home. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for a casual meal or a special evening out.
Every dish we ordered was bursting with rich, authentic flavour and beautifully cooked with quality, fresh ingredients. The menu offers such a great variety that there’s something to delight every palate — from classic curries to standout house specials. The portions were generous, and each bite was more delicious than the last.
What truly made the evening memorable, though, was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready with helpful recommendations and ensuring our glasses were topped up and needs looked after throughout the meal. It felt like dining with friends who genuinely care about your experience.

Extremely disappointed. Food took over an hour to arrive, when it did arrive the order was wrong and we were sent no rice. The food we were sent was freezing cold and the quality was awful as you can see from the picture. We have had £2 microwave curries that were better quality than this. When we rang the restaurant to complain we were told there was nothing they could do and they could send a replacement as we were too far away. We were 5 miles away from the restaurant.

Always a really pleasant experience at Qurashi!

The food is always tremendously delicious with lots of flavour and spice! I would recommend the ‘lamb Jal Tarang’ – not too spicy and full of flavour.

The front of house staff are always very friendly too! Very professional – courteous and helpful!

Overall, there is a great atmosphere in a very convenient location!

Absolutely top class restaurant. All safety measures in place. Meals were huge, and we were lucky enough to get the government incentive discount so doubly pleased. The staff are hard working and polite, and its so busy its best to book ahead.

Would not recommend first visit and last, The starter was hard as nails (onion bhaji) considering the waiter said everything cook from fresh . If i visited the toilet initially wouldn’t use the restaurant needs complete refit. I don’t know how the staff wash they hands ? BASZO
