Sep/24/2021 indoor dining closed but eats outside were available or you can have your food in your car like many people there. We had burger and their Friday special for about 20 bucks and the food was absolutely great. You probably can’t find such good food quality anywhere else for at least 3 times this price. Very friendly and polite staff too. Will highly recommend

Breakfast Delight
I drove down to Old fort to visit the Mountain Gateway Museum. I asked the attendant at the museum where I should go for breakfast. Without missing a beat she said Mustards.
I got there. The girl was friendly. I got a window seat. I missed the breakfast rush. I ordered the breakfast special. gravy & biscuits, 2 eggs fried over medium, and sausage.
The food was delicious. The service was superb. The best.

Awesome piece of Americana. Great food and prices. Great service. A must stop before you climb Catawba Falls, and then stop again afterwards for ice cream on the way back. Services American/diner food.

I have lived here my whole life and had no idea this place existed until today! It was amazing! Went in for breakfast and was thrilled by the quality and phenomenal service. Super fast and efficient. Y’all…the grits were banging!!!

We found this spot after hiking the Falls and arrived just as they were closing. The owner said that we could still get the BBQ sandwich, so we ordered one to share, as we just wanted a taste. After one bite we went back to the order window and asked if we could order 3 more. This was the best BBQ ever! The owner was so kind and brought them out. He sat at the table outside with us and treated us like friends and we had a great conversation with him. Our only regret was that we weren’t in the area long enough to eat there again. This is definitely a “must go to again” place if I ever get back to this area.

Great food right off the highway. Service was friendly and fast. You can eat inside/outside or take it to go. There is a huge menu and the dinner plates have plenty of food. Cake is amazing and we will try the ice cream next time we come through.

Stopped by for a bite after a hike. We both got hotdogs, on point! I had a dog with slaw, mustard and chili. If you are in the area don’t pass them up if you are hungry. Reasonable prices and very friendly staff.
