I have been a regular patron of Willies since the 1990s. In my opinion, it’s the best Mexican restaurant in the Morris county area. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I love their sauces. They have the typical items found in any Mexican eatery: tacos, burritos, fsjitas, chile rellenos, etc. But they also have so many other wonderful dishes not found in any other Mexican place. They have steak with various sauce options, pork chops Durango: perfectly cooked, juicy, and topped with garlic, Chicken Florentino: breast topped with cheese and spinach, and Chicken Tijuana: strips of white meat in a savory sauce with onions and peppers.Thete’s also shrimp dishes and plump chicken wings. And don’t forget to ask for a free portion of their homemade hot sauce. I pour it on everything. Whenever my wife and I go to a different Mexican restaurant and she asks me, how’s the food, I inevitably say, “It’s good, but it’s not Willies.”

Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were NOT disappointed. The food was hot and fresh when it came out. They have some great lunch specials! The tamale and enchilada were delicious. The server was very sweet and attentive. You get quite a lot of food for a very reasonable price.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The waitress/ hostess is lovely. Service is quick. Portions are enormous and the price is fair. I ordered the lunch combo (enchilada/ tamale) that came with rice and beans and piscine gallo salad for under 15 dollars. It was so delicious but I couldn’t even eat half because there was so much food! Will be coming here again for sure.

Nice little Mexican restaurant. Staff very kind and accommodating to menu alterations. Food was served fast, hot, and plentiful. First visit to this small town restaurant, and would definitely visit again. Definitely recommend!

After all these years I can’t believe I have never left a google review. Jackie and Jose truly treat you like family when you dine with them even if you’re just running in for take out. If you’re a repeat customer they will remember you. They even remember just how I like my tacos! Their food never disappoints. It’s always very fresh and very tasty.

Our favorite! We love the food. It is fresh, delicious and amazingly consistent. During the pandemic, we can’t dine in but we enjoy getting takeout. Entrees are large and can be shared but we love having leftovers for the next day. Prices are very reasonable and the owners, Jose and Jackie, are the nicest people you could ever meet.

Well, I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but in case anyone wants to order the Rancheros enchiladas, it does not come with any type of sauce and is mostly rice. The owner was very adamant this is how enchiladas are done, but the picture from their online ordering platform looks nothing like what they actually cooked. So maybe get something else…or go somewhere else
