Doing Joe proud, one pie at a time. This has been my favorite pizza for as long as I can remember. I have many fond memories of going to the original location in Homewood, IL as a kid after high school dances and enjoying it (probably too much) until I moved to SWFL years ago. I was thrilled to hear about this new location, which is closer to our home, but still almost an hour drive. It was worth every mile. The girl working the counter was super friendly and helpful. The pizza was SPOT ON and delicious. We even left with another one as a surprise for my mother in law. She was blown away at the quality and loved the blast from past. Keep up the great work!

Being from Chicago, having Aurelio’s conveniently located in Estero is a great perk. The other night, I ordered a medium pizza with half pepperoni and half sausage. It came out perfectly cooked and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out!

My favorite pizza from back home…it did not disappoint! Only difference is the crust is a bit thicker than the ones in Illinois. But my gosh was it good! Cooked perfectly. Finally a good pizza place within 20 minutes of me!!

I was sadly disappointed. Especially for 60.00 dollars for 2 pizzas. Hopefully they will figure out the soggy crust thomg.
I will say though. The sauce and toppings are absolutely amazing and no other restaurant that claims Chicago can touch it. Crisp things up a bit and you put every other pizza joint out of business.

It falls off the crust and it’s super messy and doughy. This is not worth $43. The pizza itself is alright, but it’s simply not enjoyable. Never coming here again. I wanted my money back but they said they’d talk to the owner which I’m sure they never did and offered me utensils because thats how you “eat” it.

Heading back to drop daughter off at Fort Myers airport & discovered Aurelio’s was in the proximity. Been years, but childhood memories beckoned me. Called to check hrs…found out carry-out only so called & placed order for our time of pick up. Picked up & drove to nearby Six mile Preserve & ate under the Pavilion…then went for hike. It was insanely delicious like I remember!!!

I ordered a 13-inch pizza from Jeanette with three toppings and extra sauce. She was super friendly and professional, and she even repeated the order back to confirm it.The only thing I would have liked was a total price quoted at the time of ordering. When my wife picked it up, it turned out to be a 15-inch pizza, and the total with tax was $43.40.The pizza itself was excellent—plenty of toppings and a sweeter sauce. I’m glad we added the extra sauce; I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much without it. The staff at pickup were also very polite and professional. We’d definitely order again. If I’d been given the total upfront, I probably would’ve caught the size difference, but it’s no issue—we’ll be back!

This was our first time trying Aurelio’s in Estero and the pizza was wonderful! We made a bit of a rookie mistake, though—we showed up with a group of 13 people not realizing that this location is primarily for takeout and doesn’t have restaurant seating.
Despite the mix-up, the staff were absolutely great and very accommodating. We decided to make the best of it and took our pizzas over to the empty tables in front of the Starbucks nearby. It turned out to be a really fun evening! If you are looking for great pizza and friendly service, definitely give them a try (just plan on taking it to go!).

Avoid this place like the plague. The absolute worst pizza i’ve ever had if you can even call it pizza. Go to Dominos or Pizza Hut or Jets or even Papa Johns every comercial pizza spot is better and less expensive. An absolute waste of $50.00 plus not to mention the pizza made me and my wife sick.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The sauce taste like tomato paste from a plastic bag and the cheese they use is literally yellow cheddar cheese mixed with some other terrible combination of cheeses. This is the pizza you buy frozen and overcook by accident but eat and don’t complain because its cheap and quick and made at home but with out the benefits of it being inexpensive because the quality of ingredients are dirt cheap. I hate writing bad reviews but wow this place is awful. At least when you get sick somewhere where the food taste good its worth going back because it was probably a mistake but this was the best they had to offer. I could make better pizza in my own oven at home. This is a disgrace to anyone who likes pizza these folks hopefully aren’t Italian or from up north because wow I don’t even think rats would eat this. I don’t wish bad on anyone but literally anyone else could use that establishment and sell better food.

We retired to Virginia after 30 years in Homewood, IL. Hard to contain our excitement to find an Aurelios in Estero. The pizza was perfect. Sweet sauce, crispy crust, savory sausage, trademark square pieces. To top it off, the employees were so personable putting up with our Aurelios stories. See you next year when we down for the Roy Hobbs World Series.
PS. I think we put a dent in their jarred sauces inventory.
