It wasn’t busy at all so we sat at the bar. We sat for about 10-15min without the bartender acknowledging us or even coming over once (there were two of them). We ended up leaving and we definitely won’t be back.
Edit to owner: I never said it was a Sunday. We were there Saturday night, there were 2 guys behind the bar at one point and then one left, and I’m definitely reviewing the correct place.

Although, the staff was beyond friendly and welcoming, I was a bit disappointed in some of the food. I ordered the mushrooms and was looking forward to them, but unfortunately, every bite was blobs of grease/oil. And at $8.95 for the basket of mushrooms…it’s a bit over priced. The “regular” burger was ok; nothing super special. Great location, just needs a bit more.

Amazing place to head in at during a walk through south O. Great food, the wings were the best I’ve had around. The atmosphere was very pleasant but also blunt if it makes sense. Lighting is incredible and there’s a decent amount of tabling. Our server was absolutely incredible I wish I caught their name but they were very friendly and extremely helpful with the local area. All I can say about them is they have a chest tattoo, very nice people there. All n all besides the slightly long wait time it was incredible and I’ll definitely be coming back

My friend circle is very diverse in age from early 20’s up to early 50’s… We also are a good blend of LGBT and not… We go out almost every weekend and even sometimes during the week. We love music, dancing, and karaoke… I heard of the Verdict for the first time a couple weeks ago. I assumed… Incorrectly… That it’s a fairly new venue because not even the young gays had heard of it. I’ve only been there once so far but we all plan on going back to hang out there again. It’s got a great selection of alcohols, the bartender was super friendly and a nice pour! We didn’t try any food but there seemed to be a very steady flow of food coming out of the kitchen. My main suggestion to the owners is they need to step up their social media marketing… When your main demographic has no idea you exist that’s not good for business ❤️ Another perk is there’s plenty of parking in a free parking lot behind the building

Being from California I’ve hit a lot of bar restrooms and have never been in one that smelled like candles! Incredibly relaxed time after rough week! Came in Wednesday July 23rd around 6/7pm: Awful experience. Walked in unsure if it was seat-yourself, no greeting, had to say “hello” to the bartender who ignored us (it was not busy in the slightest, maybe 3 other people at the bar). I asked for a beer in a bottle, he brought a can. When I politely pointed it out, he tried to snatch it out of my hand without a word. Completely disrespectful. I told him it wasn’t a big deal, just not what I asked for, and he finally said that’s all they had. Club sandwich came on the wrong bread with barely any meat, wings were the wrong sauce. We skipped their remake offer because we had a show to get to and I honestly just wanted to leave. My boyfriend tipped $10, but I definitely wouldn’t have. Won’t be back.

Its hilarious and genuinely entertaining to read the responses to reviews for this business. It’s also incredibly embarrassing to see management/owners reply to reviews they disagree with by being completely over the top versus just choosing to not respond if the outcome doesn’t change the review or better the business.
It really shows the maturity level of the people owning and running the business. Why go to great lengths to prove you’re right about something you could just not respond to. What are these great lengths? Oh, reviewing audio and video surveillance for anything they disagree with to instead tell a story that they think will drive home how wrong the reviewer was for the comment.
It’s a good thing Nebraska is a one party consent state and some how businesses get away with being able to cross reference audio for situations that do not require legal interference or action. It’s the Wild Wild West after all.
As for mentioning your employees not being on the clock and still helping customers and not being paid to do so is an FSLA violation. If you aren’t aware that’s the Fair Standard Labor Act. I encourage your “god like leadership” to review what that means and the legal ramifications that could result in not paying said employees for even those few minutes performing work duties off the clock.
The amount of reviews about rude service from staff clearly indicate someone(s) are a problem whether you pull video and audio for every review you don’t agree with. I am going to assume the extreme defensiveness for every even minor flub or review that doesn’t reflect 5 shining stars are because that person that’s rude or the problem might just be the person(s) responsing to these reviews.
Your responses as a business and a place that claims to be supportive to the LGBTQIA+ community and a friendly, enjoyable, welcoming, local Omaha business are not it.
I guess Nebraska isn’t for everyone and your business proves that.

Dead. Showed up hungry but upon arriving 3 guys out front smoking and when they saw us they put out their cigs and went inside.
We went in and 2 of the guys were at the end of the bar and the other behind the bar. We stood waiting for someone to greet us and finally went to the bar and spoke to the guy behind the bar. He gave us a menu. Music was super odd and loud (I’m a musician) and noticed not anyone else eating. The guy behind the bar said he could make us something and gave us a menu.
We left and went down the road to eat.
