A great place to dine without regrets, reflux, or heartburn. Options are very healthy and align with Mediterranean diet and many others. Food is fresh and tasty, service is quick at brunch hours, and housemaid drinks have great flavor. It’s a great place to eat less meat or try more vegetarian options like whole grains, tofu, and hearty vegetables. Most of the restaurant is geared towards environmentally conscious and reusable materials and the minimization of waste. There are takeout options available in coolers ready to go.

Delicious and guiltless! Don’t sleep on the Te de Jamaica – some dudes were literally just loitering there slurping it up and drained the tank so I couldn’t get a refill before heading out (which I didn’t exactly need but it’s so tasty!) The staff were capable about accommodating dairy-free needs and the Bangkok Bowl with tofu made me happy about my life choices. The triple ginger cookie that I took home to my spouse also mysteriously vanished real quick…

A great healthy food spot that uses fresh local ingredients. The chicken was definitely the best part of the meal. Just beware that service can be a little slow due to the complexity of the dishes served there – however if you are in a rush, they have a grab and go section.

I was in the area and looking for gluten, dairy, soy free foods. I ordered the nacho bowl with chili to go. I loved the idea of the 2 bean chili with local beef, but the execution wasn’t there. It had no taste, I think salt would save it, I’ll try that when I get home. Their menu is well labeled and they have an ingredient list that shows all the allergens. They do not have GF, DF, Vegetarian labels on their prepared foods, but they do have an ingredient list in them. Parking lot was hard to get out of due to construction on 1/12. They weren’t particularly busy and they have a lot of regular customers based on how they were greeted. The interior of the restaurant was warm and inviting. They have local honey, sweet treats and a message board for local events. Seems like a cool hang out spot if you live in the area and have gluten issues or are vegetarian.

Atmosphere and people seemed great but I got my nacho bowl to go. It was deconstructed nachos which is fine. The extra 79 cents I paid for avocado though was ridiculous seeing as I was given a single slice

When you know what you’re looking for…it will often elude you. When you have no idea what you seek…it will ironically find you. In this life like soup…may every bowl be a bowl of good.

My morning aspirations were simple. Get coffee…but when I arrived at the place I googled…I immediately noticed another place right next door with the right combination of words as it’s name. “Bowl of Good”. It spoke to me….I listened and made my way inside to what appeared to be a very sterile…almost chain restaurant looking interior. Everything was in the right place. I realized I too was in the right place when I got a look at the menu and fridge area. The most clean and creative ensemble of ingredients one could imagine. I ordered a few coffees and a smattering of dishes ranging from eggs w/ sausage to quesadillas and a loaded up rice/egg bowl thingy. It tasted like it was prepared by the hands of mythical food gods. So fresh…so vibrant with flavors that complimented each other like a good plate mate. They also have a large fridge with pre-prepared food that looked magnificently wonderful.

This place had a mission for sure and I believe it to be serving a community sensational creations out of a supersized Bowl of Good. Bring that to any table and you will always have patrons for your portions. Thanks for reading and I hope this guides someone in the right direction. I got the maharaja bowl. Let me start by saying I’m Indian. And when I tell you this is the closest food I’ve had to traditional Indian food in the U.S I’m serious. It tastes 1:1 like it’s from india and it was really good! I highly recommend you try this bowl.

Lucked upon this delicious restaurant while shopping in Harrisonburg. So good and delightful folks working to make it a top eatery. Had the pasta bowl and the maharaja bowl and a huge muffin. Forgot to get a picture of the muffin!

One of my favorite places to go eat and it’s like going to flavortown in all the different bowls!! Then you get to hit the great thrift store that’s right beside it so… All in all it’s a good morning spent!
