Unfortunately, this is the second time I get a small bucket of chicken and sausage gumbo and it’s mostly shredded meat. It’s more meat than liquid …is not gumbo. I hate this because of the restaurant doesn’t have enough gumbo with the liquid, then don’t serve it to them. When I got home, it is nothing but slop. This is the second time this happened, the second time. This makes me not to come here anymore. I’ll find somewhere else to go.

This place never disappoints me. I walk in and I’m greeted with a smile and given great customer service every time! And as a customer service professional, myself, there’s nothing more important to me than this. And every time I come into this place, it’s clean!!! That’s more than I can say for a lot of places. Thanks for the great service y’all!.. As for the food, my husband has no complaints! For I am vegan, but he is very much a meat eater and this is his favorite place to order gumbo from. So if you’re in the mood to eat some gumbo, this is the place to go!.. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. Thanks Jambalaya shop! .. And to all the employees that work here who never disappoint me

So me and my girlfriend wanted to have a nice little date together, and she really enjoys Jambalaya. Coming here was perfect. The service was nice, I had accidentally gotten the wrong order and was fixed immediately and still got to keep what was initially given.
The pastalaya is really good, a decent amount of spice but delicious. And just the general sit down area was comfortable!
Definitely planning another date here again.

Good food, fast service, emaculately clean and delicious! We stopped for a quick bite while on vacation. Our order was taken and we were served quickly. My husband had gumbo and I had the red beans and rice. The portions were generous, the flavors were excellent and I especially liked the extra heat and flavor offered by their signature seasoning (in a “salt shaker on the table). We are glad we were able to stop by on our trip.

Let me start off by saying when I first walked in this restaurant I liked the layout of the place and thought the style of it was nice, however I should’ve taken it as a sign that something was off when nearly the whole restaurant was empty around lunch time. And because of the name of the restaurant I expected the Jambalaya here to be phenomenal: something that would knock my socks off. But the food left much to be desired; I got the Jambalaya dinner with white beans and green salad as sides, and honestly the food was mediocre. The taste and texture of the rice was like generic fried rice you’d get at a Chinese restaurant with a little seasoning, and the meat was mostly chicken with not much sausage in it….and on top of that the chicken was dry too. The green salad with the dressing was ok. The best thing on the plate was the white beans, and at least the bottled water was nice and cold. The cashier was nice though, but it didn’t look like many people were working there that day. Also, my dad told me that the restrooms weren’t in the best condition.

Food was burnt. Soda machine only had 1 or 2 options that were available. Tea was tasted like it hadn’t been changed since they open. On the buffet there were no saving spoons or tongs and it was after 1pm when we went there. Will not recommend or go back
