Huda is an absolute revelation in the Philadelphia food scene, serving up a masterclass smashburger defined by its lacy-edged patties and pillowy, house-made Japanese milk buns. The experience is perfectly rounded out by their expertly seasoned fries, which offer a signature crunch that pairs flawlessly with their legendary buttermilk ranch. It is a chef-driven, high-end culinary destination that comfortably claims the title for the best burger-and-fries duo in the city

I tried the short rib grilled cheese and found it quite overrated. It was too salty, greasy, and the portion size felt small for the price ($17). On the other hand, the spicy chicken was much better—flavorful (though not very spicy), with good fries on the side. The food came out quickly, and the staff was friendly. I’d come back again to try more items from the menu hopefully a 5 star worthy sandwich.

I’ve been wanting to try Huda for a long time and finally got takeout! I got the spicy chicken sandwich and a side of small fries.

Price for the chicken sandwich is high (almost $17 without fries) and while it is on the larger side, the chicken was thin. I expected it to be juicier and thicker. I enjoyed the sauce and the bun. Fries were crispy, but a little over fried. They were hard, but I’m glad they weren’t soggy.

For the high price tag, I was a bit let down in the sandwich. I hear they have good smash burgers so maybe I’ll try that next!

Would love to give this place a higher rating, but the smash burger I got just wasn’t a smash burger, not even close. Its just two normal beef patties, they taste good, but it’s not a smash burger which is the whole point of this place. When I went here a year ago they actually made legit smash burgers, those thin crispy patties (like in the picture they have), not sure what changed ‍♂️

Genuinely one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. This is the chicken parm sandwich! Yes it’s a bit pricy ($16) but look at the size of this thing it’s MASSIVE. So worth it, like twice the size of a normal burger. Big fan of the thick hunk of juicy chicken and chewy milk bun!

We went to Huda for lunch. We ordered the smash burger with an extra patty and sauce on the side. We also ordered the fries with the house made ranch.

The burger was insanely good. It was juicy, cooked perfectly, cheesy and gooey. They give you wet naps for a reason. The bun was so soft but the toast on it gave it a perfect crunch. The onions and cheese were just right. This is one of the better burgers I’ve ever had.

The fries were salty and crispy and seasoned well. I used the ranch to dip them. The buttermilk and dill just worked so perfectly to offset the saltiness of the fries. It was just perfect.

Do not miss this spot!

HUGE shoutout to Huda restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience! The food was absolute perfection – every bite was a flavor explosion! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond. We were there on a busy day and still got our food quickly.
We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling stuffed but happy.

HUDA is a MUST-VISIT spot in the city. If you’re a foodie or just looking for a great meal, look no further. The chef’s creativity and passion shine through in every dish. Can’t wait to come back and try more! 10/10 going there for wings again.

Recommended dishes: Everything! But try the the wings, you won’t regret it.

Located in the heart of Rittenhouse, Huda is a fast-casual sandwich shop with sandwiches built on house-baked Japanese milk buns. My son was pumped to introduce us to Huda as he and his wife love this place. Three of us had the Smash Burgers Huda style, featuring a large slice of pickled green tomato and Huda sauce. My wife chose the tender, Chicken Parm sandwich with a tasty combination of Parm & basil pesto. We shared generous fries w dijonaise & garlic aioli dipping sauces, and a very satisfying grilled romaine salad. We devoured everything since it was so good! Most orders are picked up, but there are several tables for in store eating.

The grilled romaine salad is clearly something devised and executed by some seriously well-trained, talented people. Korean chicken sandwich I will order again! Hard to not get the Mott Burger so I’ll have to come back. I’m not local, so had to dine in. Tight but cozy quarters—locals should consider carryout (or delivery?)

WOW these sandwiches were delicious. My family enjoyed everything we got. We tried some brisket sandwiches and short rib grilled cheeses and both were excellent. The brisket sandwich had a strong pickle flavor (which I personally loved), so if you don’t like pickles, maybe try the short rib grilled cheese. The warm and toasted milk bun really made it and it was super cheesy. The fries were also pretty solid and my favorite dip was the garlic mayo (if I’m remembering correctly).
