This was my first time visiting this food spot (Feb 21-22, 2026) and the food was soooo good the first time that I went back the exact next day. When you arrive, you will place your order on a kiosk screen and wait for it to be called. There were a lot of people inside of the building so I walked down (1 min) to the Mexican restaurant and got me a drink and then I got a text that my food was ready. It was fresh and hot and again so good ! The yams were amazing. The wait time will depend on the Time of day. Saturday night I waited about 30-40 minutes and Sunday afternoon I waited less than 15 minutes. It is nine different restaurants inside of this building but like I said, you can wait inside or you can go and get you a drink lol. Sunday, my food was ready so quick that they placed my food in to go box which kept the food nice and hot as well so don’t worry if you have to leave or step away, they will send you a text. They will also call your name and if you are not there, they will place your food in the warm box where you would enter your name to retrieve it because it will be locked . Definitely will return anytime I’m in North Carolina!

This place has the best Jamaican food in the city!! The oxtails are so flavorful and the meat falls right off the bone. I love that I can order online or on a tablet when I come in (since this is a ghost kitchen) and they are quick and efficient. They have alot of affordable options if you don’t want to break the bank too. My family eats here at least once a week.

The food is really good! Been wanting to try it for years. The taste did not disappoint. The oxtail cheesesteak was amazing as well as the rice and beans. The plantains were okay a little too sweet and mushy. I would have to say the prices and wait times were ridiculous. You could eat at a fancy restaurant with their prices honestly. And they were out of a lot of things, including oxtails. You can’t be a Jamaican spot known for oxtails and not have any! Good food, service and prices need work.

Tonight was my first time trying the food. I enjoyed the Mac n cheese and yams, also wings. I would definitely suggest trying the food. I need to try the cabbage and rice and peas. I finished all of my Mac n cheese, yams and wings. Thank y’all!

Order online, to beat the wait. Food was definitely a treat like always. So impressed , and humbled when the owner delivered the food to us. Worth the 3 hr drive. Will definitely be back!

7/29/25-This place deserves cussing words…. IN A GOOD WAY! How their 4.3 stars is laughable (seems like haters). Were not from Charlotte but was recommended here, and oh boy!!!! My daughter ordered the jerk chicken, mac-n-cheese and sweet potato. I was literally going to go somewhere else until I saw her plate AND how she devoured it (unusual for her) I turned back around and ordered the oxtail, added jerk shrimp, with collard greens and of course the mac-n-cheese. They would hate us if we lived here!!! Their food for obvious reasons sell out fast. I’d be waiting at the door BEFORE they could even clock in. Please go and give them the praise they definately deserve. The ordering process is a bit different but actually smooth. Don’t walk, don’t run, sprint. HIGHLY recommended. I can’t wait to go back to NC!

You can’t mix “OLD” and fresh pieces of oxtail together. We the customers will know it. The Mac and cheese is old and dry. The oxtail is super tough, inedible. Will NEVER return.

The oxtails and yams were delicious. My rating is probably more of a 4.5, but that’s not an option. The only downside was that the greens were definitely overcooked and mushy. The seasoning was great, but I couldn’t get past the mushiness. The wait time was also longer than expected. Overall, good dinner. I will definitely return for the oxtails

This spot is definitely worth the try. The menu is vast with a lot of customization at hand.

I decided to get the Oxtail Fried Rice w/ Snapper Bites and a side of “Boom Boom” sauce — First off, the portions are very generous for a Jamaican spot and I’m from NYC. Second, this is the first time I’ve had Oxtail Fried Rice – BANGER! The snapper bites were fried very well and had a good seasoning.

My girlfriend decided on the jerk chicken and she was thoroughly pleased. She enjoyed the rice and peas along with the Smokey/grilled essence you expect with jerk chicken.
