We recently dined here. Started with the fried liver as appetizer, and it was absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. Definitely one of the best liver dishes we’ve had!
For the main course, we ordered the mixed grill for two, and it was amazing. The platter had a generous amount of food—honestly, even three people could easily share it. The meats were well-seasoned, juicy, and grilled to perfection, making it a highlight of our meal.
However, the biggest disappointment was the Kunefa. It was burnt and lacked the juiciness that makes this dessert special. Instead of the perfect balance of crispy and syrupy, it felt dry and overcooked, which was unfortunate. Deducting one star just for this dessert!

The only downside to this place is that it’s a bit small, but we’ve always been able to get a table by calling ahead. The food, service, and atmosphere are incredible—you truly feel like you’re at home while someone is cooking you delicious Turkish food. We’ve been there for many occasions, with friends and family, and even just for a quick bite, and it has always been consistently great and enjoyable.

We have been living in the area for a long time, but only recently discovered this little local gem!
Have been here twice and tried gyro, fish, lamb dish and everything is delicious! Love the cold dish and desserts! Do not miss the almond pudding and kunefe. Both are wonderful!

Small restaurant but delicious food…
I have read the reviews of this restaurant and wanted to try this. What could be better than my birthday to try? It was my b’ day dinner with my lovely wife. We were coming back from seaside heights and called to reserve the table. They said you don’t need it, you ll get the table upon arrival. Closing time was 9 Pm and we reached by 8:15 PM. I live in the same neighborhood from last 2 years but never perceived this restaurant. Glad we come to know about this. Its small restaurant but 35+ people can dine together. We got the table and settled in. There was only one server who was taking care of all 4-5 occupied tables.
We ordered special Adana kabab and Lamb chops. Lamb chops were charcoal grilled and aroma of charcoal increased its taste. It was great and so was Adana kabab. Mutton kababs very well marinated and comes with buttery flavor bread and rice. We enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. Recommended.

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant. It was a special day, and I brought my friend. Got the table, settled, and ordered the below items
Baba ghanoush: this time instead of hummus, went with baba ghanoush. A mix of eggplant, Yogurt – comes with Pita pieces of bread – great, 4.5/5
Garlic Butter Shrimp: so recently I had this item in one of the Argentinian restaurants, there they just serve 6-7 shrimp sauteed in butter and spinach – that’s it. Here in Bosphorus – it’s small shrimp, full of spices and salad at the side. sumptuous
And then our favorites.

Would recommend, start eating as soon it lands on your table. It tastes great when it’s hot. It’s on skewers, properly cooked with spices, it’s juicy, melting in the mouth– it’s too good.
Service was good, lovely, cute restaurant, staffs are very friendly and will answer all of your questions patiently.

AMAZING PLACE!! We fell into the restaurant after a fun fall day of breweries and walking. The staff is so nice and all of the food was delicious. I came here with my brother, dad, and my young kids. The staff was super attentive, quick, super lovely, and beyond hospitable. The food was fantastic! We spoke with one of the partners who owns the restaurant, and she is from Istanbul, Turkey. When we asked about the name of the restaurant she said that Bosphorus is the name of a river in Istanbul. I cannot overstate how sweet the staff was! 10/10 recommend giving them a visit! I know they will take good care of you and you will enjoy your experience. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!

I had takeout. Food is very good! I had the grilled salmon, california hummus and the Shepard salad. The salmon was a very large piece accompanied with rice and salad, my only complaint is that the salad didn’t come with dressing so I just added my own. The california hummus was awesome! The shepherd salad was very fresh and the dressing was great, very light and refreshing yet tons of flavor.

Absolutely amazing experience at Bosphorus Restaurant! The food here is very delicious, with every dish bursting with authentic Turkish flavors. The staff are incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.

Nothing special. It is as good as any other middle-eastern restaurant. If the customer has to tell that it is cold and raise the thermostat, then it is a problem. Food was decent – again ordinary. Maybe you should visit when it is not busy, else I can only imagine the problems. Reasonable prices.
The most important factor missing – the person taking the order should know the culture and be able to explain the cuisine.
