GOLDEN CHICK at 205 W SW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701 is fantastic we are so happy that Tyler now has one! This one is our favorite, it is so clean with tables kept up no trash laying around and even windows sparkle. Very nice restrooms very clean. We buy the large order of spice wings so good cooked perfectly and very quick on our order we always get them to go since we live out by Canton, Tx and they are really nice folks that work here. I saw a review recently where someone gave them a one star because she had to wait in drive thru yet loves the place, lol for those who do reviews know that is not fair, so ignore her review. Just my opinion anyway we have ate several other things and have never had an issue fantastic chicken with delicious sides. 5 star all the way for fast food to go!

Azucena at Golden Chick provided the best customer service I have experienced in my 52 years of life. That includes my 26 years serving in the Air Force, where professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for people are held to a very high standard. Azucena exceeded all of those standards.
She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure my experience was great. Her positive attitude and professionalism made a lasting impression. It’s rare to see that level of dedication and pride in customer service today, and she absolutely deserves recognition for it.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. On Saturday, there were only 2 staff members handling cooking, drive-thru, and cashier duties, leading to extremely long wait times. The food quality was subpar, and I witnessed multiple customers arguing with staff over incorrect orders. The restaurant’s lack of organization was evident – very stingy management they dont even provide napkins or ketchup at the counter have to ask everything from the staff. I waited 30 minutes for my order, only to receive the wrong food. The staff seemed unconcerned and told me to wait another 30 minutes for a corrected order. Unfortunately, this was a common theme among the many unhappy customers. Given the poor service and food quality,

Beware of delivery while using the actual Golden Chick app. I literally paid almost $20 and never received my online order through the app. I always use the tracking feature on the app, which told me when my order was being picked up and when it was out for delivery. Mid delivery, I received an email stating they my order had been cancelled. When I call the store twice, I was informed that my order was picked up, and that they couldn’t do anything about what happens after it’s been picked up for delivery. I was finally given a phone number to call, after being stern about getting a contact number for support, so that the issue can be resolved. If I want Golden Chick from here on out, I’ll be sure to pay the establishment a personal visit so that I can see what’s going on and to be sure that I get what I’m paying for. The jury is still out on whether I would recommend them or not. The food has literally been hit or miss. Especially when it comes to my favorite….fried okra. Always fried hard and dried out. Do better people!! Thanks!

I absolutely love Golden Chick. Their golden roast is amazing. They have the best yeast rolls and their gravy (mixed with a Lotta Zing packet) is top notch. I tried their mashed potatoes yesterday and they’re good, but their green beans are my side of choice. I could eat them with every meal.

Decided to visit this Golden Chick for supper and it was amazing as always! My family and I have been at this location before and it has yet to be a negative experience. The food is always so hot and fresh; the customer service is always so welcoming, accommodating and nice. The owner who runs this establishment is truly caring of his spot here in Tyler. Tonight, we thought they had forgotten our extra mashed potatoes, but, it turns out, they was just waiting for the fresh gravy to finish cooking before bringing the rest out.
My mother took a trip to the bathrooms and said it was one of the cleanest, most well-kept restaurant bathrooms she has seen in a long time. Truly just a great location with very great staff. Can’t wait to come back again!

THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH!!! One of my daughters chicken strips was raw!!! I got the catfish plate tiny portions! They gave me 3 small pieces the equivalent to one fillet maybe…. I was supposed to have two fillets! Fries tasted like strait grease! Mac and cheese worst than hospital food. Catfish had no flavor except an excessive amount of grease! Chicken strips tasted like idk grease and chicken bouillon. Sparse NASTY portions for 23 dollars. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! Sweet tea tasted old with little to no sugar. Also drinks had very little ice and the cups spilled all in my car!! Oh the rolls were good but that was it. Food not even worthy of my trash can literally . DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY TYLER. ABSOLUTELY Disgusting!!!!!

Normally, I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but in this case, I must. I’ve been coming here quite a bit, and most of the time, the food is good (sometimes it looks sloppy, but if it’s still edible, then so be it). However, I came by yesterday afternoon when I get off work and wanted to grab lunch here. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker, and the person said they’ll be with me in a minute. Okay, no problem. However, there was only one car ahead of me, so I don’t know what happened there. I wait, and wait….and wait even longer. It’s been 5 minutes, and no one would take my order, so I decided to leave. It didn’t look all that busy, TBH (this was about 2:30 PM yesterday). I really like Golden Chick; they have great food, I especially like their Big and Wicked Chicken Sandwich, but because no one would take my order, I left. I’ve given this location too many chances, but now, those chances have run out. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location ever again.

It was probably 6:45 pm, on a Tuesday. It was my two teens and myself. We went in to eat. The older man was kind and took our order as soon as we were ready. We noticed their sign that said free ice-cream when you dine in. I told my kids they could have ice-cream after they finished their meal. Once they were done they went to the counter to ask for cones because there wasn’t any by the machine and they waited 5 minutes before they were noticed. There was a lady there and she was talking on her cell phone and look at them but took her a minute before she asked them what they needed. Then turns out they were out of stock on cones. I guess it wasn’t our night for ice-cream.

Stopped by Golden Chick in Tyler and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken strips were fresh, tender, and flavorful — especially when paired with their Zing sauce, which added the perfect kick. The restaurant is also halal, which is a big plus. Overall, a solid spot for quick chicken cravings, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.
