This was hands down the best sushi experience of my life. The specials were absolutely top notch, the sashimi was cut perfectly, and the fish was the freshest I’ve ever had. Every bite was amazing.
On top of that, the service was unreal — the staff made me feel completely at home, like I was dining with family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the whole night even better.
If you love sushi, you owe it to yourself to come here. Easily a must-visit spot and my new favorite sushi restaurant.

Onsen is such a hidden gem. The best sushi in the area. Any time I’m in town my family and I get so many rolls. Both dining in and take out are great! Surprised this placed isn’t always packed out with how great their food quality is. Their pizza sandwich as an app is out of control good!!!

This is THE place for great sushi and great service. The sushi is fresh, the fish is great, their avocado is ripe and the people are amazing. I travel 15 miles to get here and every time it’s been great food and amazing service. Don’t know why I’ve waited so long to write a review but I hope they get the recognition they deserve. Because of Google reviews we tried this place. First it took too long for our food to get to us. Like 2 tables with sushi and full meals with 4 people and the other table with two people were served before us and they came after us. When the food came for us the fish was NOT fresh, it was slimy. Like it got stuck to the chop stick. After that they pretty much forgot about us. Out sushi didn’t taste fresh at all as well as it was not good quality. I have had sushi all over the states and overseas and this is the worst sushi I ever had. Sushi at Suffolk community college cafeteria is better than this one as well as the service.

As a foodie who frequent NYC for sushi, I can genuinely say that this place has one of the freshest fish. The price is also very good for the food and service you get. We got the toro carpaccio (highly recommend), salmon tortilla (also really delicious) and for entree we got the salmon Don, rainbow Naruto and crazy salmon. Everything was delicious.

We ordered delivery through the restaurants website on my phone. It was very easy to order. I got the lunch special with two spicy tuna rolls. They were very tasty/ The salad was very small. The miso soup was good. My wife got the pad thai. She said it was very good. Overall a very pleasant experience and the food was very good. Will definitely order from again.

Came highly recommended. Though the first time I went to grab some take out the strip mall it is in looked a little suspect, it turns out Onsen easily is the best sushi I have come across on the south shore since I started eating sushi 4 years ago. They are always friendly, give you a warm welcome and sometimes surprise you with something super delicious when you’re dining in. I go there for take out and to sit and eat. Place is amazing. Make sure you try the Joey Roll and Crazy Tuna roll!!

So I learned something about myself. I don’t like raw food. I went with my friend who loves it and he said it was excellent. I love the fact that it was a new experience. The waitress was lovely. I tried some kind of Asian beer and a martini. I didn’t like the martini. The seaweed salad was good. I also liked the fried sushi. All the sushi I choose in my main dish were cooked. The salad was all raw I couldn’t finish it but my friend found pleasure in helping me. The atmosphere is cosy and family or couple oriented plus u can see the cooks making ur meal. Another thing I liked was the fact that the waitress and the cooks kept us updated on how long your meals will be.
