I recently moved to the area and finally tried gyg! I’m used to going to Qdoba and Chipotle. The reason I decided to go with my fiance was because of the new pulled mushroom taco (i dont eat meat). The cashier that was there was soo nice and helped me with all my questions as a first timer. (Her name was Kassandra, i made sure to ask for it since she was such a sweetheart omg)! My fiance got a steak cali burrito and a brisket taco. I got two of the mushroom tacos. The mushroom tacos were pretty good! The horchata was also way better than i thought it would be!! Service was amazing, restaurant was clean, and the workers all were really helpful and nice. i also got the spicy queso fries which were interesting! (Not in a bad way)

Cashier was very nice. He answered all my questions because I’ve never had their breakfast. He also brought my food out to me which is very nice.

My g/f and I went here for Valentines Day, plus it was our first visit! We basically ordered the same thing, I got the smaller burrito, chips & guacamole and a drink (Coke products, a big plus for me!)
I started with the chips and guacamole and I swear they JUST made it, if not, it sure tasted like it! The chips were also fresh and tasty!
The burrito I ordered had chicken in it and I could taste the “char”, so fresh and full of flavor!!
We’re looking forward to our future visits, the freshness is real! Oh yeah, btw, they brought our food out, came back and asked how it was and said “have a great night” on our way out, I liked that, very genuine

I had an amazing experience with Josh, one of the managers. He was incredibly friendly and professional, even offering to buy my dinner! The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. As someone who’s worked in the restaurant industry for years, I can say he truly deserves a promotion for his dedication. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family. Thanks, Josh!

The Enchilada burrito was amazing! I got it mini size with steak filling, and chips and queso. Everything was delicious! The guacamole was so fresh, and the tomatillo sauce was nice and mild, so it didn’t over power the rest of the flavors. Andrea was patient and helpful with my order since it was my first visit.

manager is the sweetest thing in the world ! She made sure I got all my items had the best experience, like always! she is just amazing This location couldn’t have found anyone else to run this store ! Great job to manager Kenya who has not only been there since I started going my self but I never stopped going back because of her service and the staff are super friendly as well so many options to chose from so I let her pick my meal every time I come in and everytime is something different! That’s is why I love going after 7pm ! My favorite so far has been the Nacho Brisket! staff made sure my food was great with presentation even if it was super busy ! Never disappoints! Will tell my family to stop by tomorrow after church!

Nice Mexican concept. Good service. I had the Steak Cali Burrito. Like a Regular Mexican burrito with french fries in it. Nice salsa choices. The steak was a little bit tough and not as much seasoning. Pricing very reasonable and they offer beer and margaritas also Overall, a nice addition to the Buffalo grove area.

This pace just opened in Buffalo Grove and we made a stop. Loved the environment and service. Very quick, a lot of people cleaning, cooking, serving, maybe because it is still brand new. We ordered regular grilled chicken burrito and pulled brisket bowl. I felt the portions were smaller than Chipotle but we felt ingredients were a bit better(chicken was softer and tastier). Overall, pretty good, but wouldn’t share other reviewers sentiments on the must go place. >>> SPECIAL ATTENTION TO SALSA STATION: SMOKED CHIPOTLE WAS TO DIE FOR <<<
