Amazing dinner. Perogies hand made, lamb gyro made with fresh organic veggies and kabobs over the top delicious. There are empty plates because it was so good. Just like my grandma’s kitchen.

Absolutely delicious! Stumbled across this restaurant while driving around, and it is a hidden gem. I had the red borscht and the pilaf, with coffee and two desserts. All portions are hearty, delicious, and tasty. Both waitresses were super kind and friendly. I came in on a rainy and cold day, and they were super welcoming in opening the dining room for me. Will definitely be coming back!

I had the absolute best Russian food I’ve ever tasted here. I came with my mom, and from the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and truly special.
Every dish was authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor — the kind of food that instantly brings comfort and nostalgia. You can taste the love and skill in every bite. The cook is simply incredible — everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and unforgettable.
Susan, the owner, is such a sweetheart. She made us feel right at home and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and so appreciated.
If you’re looking for real, authentic Russian cuisine made with heart, this is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back

If you’re craving authentic Central Asian and Russian comfort food, this place is a great find. Susan from Samarkand cooks amazing shashlik and lagman, rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a long day on the slopes or any outdoor activity.
The menu has all the hearty dishes that really hit the spot, and the atmosphere makes the experience special. In the evenings, there is live singing and early-2000s style music, creating that nostalgic Eastern European restaurant vibe where people sing along, and even dance. Sometimes the music can be very loud though, so plan accordingly.
One more thing to know. it’s BYOB, so don’t forget to bring your favorite bottle.
If you want real flavors of Uzbekistan and a warm, lively atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting. Order medovik for desert! It was delicious!!

Delicious food made with love! We tried the chicken tabaka, borscht, kharcho soup, and pickled vegetables — all cooked to perfection. Truly some of the best we’ve ever had. Fast, professional service as well. Highly recommended!
Guess what — second day in the Poconos and we ended up in this beautiful restaurant again! This time we tried Manti, Chicken Kiev, and mushroom soup. Once again, everything was cooked to perfection and the service was exceptional.
We often go out to Russian restaurants, but here the food truly reminds me of the way it was made in my parents’ kitchen at home. A wonderful experience!

It was my first time here. I’m new to the area and I stopped in for lunch by myself. There’s not too many Russian or Eastern European food options around here or in the state in general, so I was excited to come across this restaurant. They do pickup and dine in. I dined in and honestly the food and service here is so amazing and welcoming. I ordered a kompot, blintz with cottage cheese, a small borscht, and a large order of pelmeni without broth. Everything was great! So delicious and flavorful. It was great to find delicious authentic Russian and Eastern European food and such friendly service. The had a mix of workers that were Russian, Ukrainian, and Georgian and even had a section in the front where you can buy goods to take home. I will definitely be back soon! ❤️

Good was great and our server was amazing. I do want to note that the menu online is not their menu. They serve a variety of European dishes including perogies and schnitzel.

The food here was pretty amazing. I seriously wish we lived more local or I’d be here a LOT more often! I got the borscht and the stuffed cabbage, and both were very good. The (I assume) manager was very polite and nice and even had us try out a drink before we left. I’d highly recommend this place – even for take out! They have a lot of their foods ready to go!
