About us Mazzios Italian Eatery It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today. That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

Unmanaged! Ordered “Kens” pizza which has spicy sauce and thin crust, thats what makes it a Kens. Arrived thick crust and cinnamon taste on bottom. Also ordered “sauced”wings mild buffalo, received dry chicken chunks. Granted it was memorial day, but the store was open so you would assume they were prepared for business.

Ordered bone in wings and fries . The fries were cold and for the price I would have expected more than a child receives in a kids meal . The wings were greasy and ok . The best part of the meal was the ranch for the fries . Unfortunately it was delivered or I would have asked for a refund .

Called in an order they said it would be ready in 20 minutes or less but when I got there 30 minutes later I still had to wait another 20 minutes because they claimed the calzone got misplaced because they were so busy and they didn’t offer a discount or partial refund of any kind. By the time I got the calzone my toasted ravioli were cold. I would be more likely to have believed them if they had said they forgot to make it. Then with the smirk look on the young employees faces as the food was handed to me I decided I didn’t trust the food and insisted on a refund and refused the food. I don’t recommend this location to anyone.

Traveling so we chose this place,we could walk to from hotel. The wings were so hot n tasty, calzone ring had a good crust and tasted goood.. veggie pizza was yummy.. place was quite at 8pm and didn’t take as long as they said it would. We enjoyed our dinner

This was disappointing for me, I remember eating at Mazzios when i was a kid with my family and the pizza had a great original flavor that tasted fresh and delicious. When I went to this location and got a special to share with friends, the pizza we were served tasted like a Totinos $1 frozen pizza. We also got a calzone with dipping sauce, and that was a little better than the pizza, but still tasted highly processed. The marina dipping sauce was probably the best part about the meal. The one redeeming quality about our visit to the restaurant was great service from the employees.

Customer service was lacking. Never greeted by employee, he just went to register and looked at me. I decided to say hello, how are you are, and got no reply. I than just placed order. This was an hour until close. Try to get a house salad, employee said the salad bar was closed and couldnt get a salad. However there were still several dinning in customers. Food was bland, no flavor.

”Avoid this place. The management is incredibly unprofessional and clearly doesn’t care about basic hygiene. the soda machine is covered in mold even the underneath u open it up instantly smell mold —absolutely disgusting. If they can’t clean a nozzle, or the soda cabinet imagine what the kitchen looks like. Oh and the both ur eating in take a closer look there disgusting and that film on the table is grease build up They don’t follow proper procedures at all. Stay away.”

I was there for the lunch buffet. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous.
The salad bar looked fresh and well stocked but had little to choose from.
The pizza? Not good. The crust was cracker thin and there was not much for sauce, cheese or toppings.
This was my first visit and it will be my last.
