Manhattan Fish Chicken Market: Savor the Best Fried Chicken and …
Reviews
Yo, lemme tell you about this spot, manhattan fish and chicken on Woodward and Davison I hit them up last night, craving some serious Chicken wings. I ordered online, which was smooth, and my stuff was ready exactly when they said it would be. The guy at the counter was chill, even though they were slammed.
I grabbed a 3-piece chicken and some fish The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – not dry at all, which is a major win. And the fish? Flaky, perfectly fried. Not soggy, not too greasy, just right.
Honestly, this place is my new go-to. The food is fire, the service is quick and friendly, and it’s exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for some good ol’ fried goodness. Five stars all the way!
Blood came out the chicken! It was half done this is Absolutely unacceptable to serve food that’s not even cooked properly!
We will not be coming back
I called to order again today, and I was asking can my food be fresh and he was acting as if he could not hear me. When I got his attention by asking can you hear me now he responded yes. I was in the middle of repeating my request as he cut me off saying you can order or not because the food always fresh and hung up on me while I was trying to have an understanding of what’s been asked.
I happen to be outside and went in and told him he should not talk and treat people like that. He then suggested and repeated you don’t have to order here.
I stopped mid conversation because you right I don’t. Not once but twice he suggested that I don’t have to spend my money…
It’s my money I worked hard for and you don’t have to beg me not to spend it at your business. NO PROBLEM.
The company way too comfortable to be talking to customers like that. Consider how and who you spend your money with.
Given the prices, the service is passable if not perfunctory. It’s the hood, after all, not a Michelin rated eatery.
Atmosphere? Nonexistent. The place looks like it started out as a mom and pop corner store and, over time, realized it made more money selling hot food than what’s on their shelves. Now, the spartan and overpriced foodstuffs on their shelves look more like museum pieces than something you’d want to eat. Heaven knows how long it’s been sitting there.
