Tucked away in the tiny town of Greenleaf, this gem is worth the drive up from Appleton or down from Green Bay!
I got the “Blackened” bluegill. It was so delicious! It reminded of when my grandmother would fry the bluegill we’d just caught in her cast iron skillet at their trailer in Pensaukee.
My partner got the sautéed shrimp. They were plump and juicy and were seasoned and cooked to perfection! He’s allergic to potatoes, so we really appreciated the option for a soup or salad at no additional cost instead.
On our first trip here, I got the tenderloin steak sandwich, and though I was too full already to eat much of it, it was also delicious as a chilled sandwich the next day!
We loved that all the kid’s meals came with gummy bears, apple sauce, gold fish crackers, and a kid’s soda or juice. I didn’t ask, but I’m sure they’d have milk if you do, because they’ve partnered with Country Aire Farms to celebrate June dairy month with free ice cream on Saturdays.
We’ve already decided this is our new favorite place, so we look forward to seeing you there soon!
Update – We’ve been regular customers for nearly a year, and they just keep getting better!!
We love all the bartenders, but Logan is one of our favorites because he has flair!

We normally try to eat at a different establishment each Friday to try out fish. This Friday we picked de Belgian saloon. I had the bluegill pan fried and my wife and kids had the cod. The portions were huge and the fish was great. I would say in my top 3 choices for a 30 mile drive from Greenleaf. Yes the wait was a hair long but I completely understand. They got plenty of good drinks while you wait. 5 stars!!!!!!

We were out doing errands and wanted a different place to go for lunch. We had drinks and two buger baskets with fries. All I can say is everything was good including the service. We’ll be back again well worth the stop.
