I was in the State Street area today and got hit with a serious craving. I’ve always loved Dos Toros, so it was an easy choice.
When I walked in and stepped up to the line, I was greeted by the sweetest employee named Daisy. I’ve been to this location before but had never seen her, so I’m guessing she’s new. If she is, what an incredible addition to the team!
I usually order the same thing every time, but I told Daisy I wanted to switch it up and asked for recommendations. Without missing a beat, she walked me through a few options and suggested the braised ancho chicken with the chipotle sauce. I had never tried either before.
First of all, she was so patient while I took forever deciding. She didn’t rush me once. She answered every question, explained flavors, and genuinely seemed excited for me to try something new. The warmth and hospitality she showed felt real. Not robotic. Not forced. Just genuinely kind and attentive.
And let me tell you… the braised ancho chicken bowl with the chipotle sauce was Unreal! So flavorful! I might have found my new go to order!!
Also, I noticed she was wearing a black polo, so I’m not sure if she’s a manager, but she definitely carries herself like one. Total professionalism with such a friendly vibe.

I had an amazing experience at this location, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I had a couple questions at the service line and Aaliyah walked me through and explained everything to detail. I have a gluten allergy and Jeannette helped explain every ingredient for me as well. The food is amazingly plentiful and delicious. The order arrived just in time for the all attorney meeting. The feedback received was outstanding!
