Absolutely incredible experience at Martha’s Lebanese American Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality from the staff – they made us feel more than welcomed. The food was out of this world! Every bite was packed with authentic flavors, and you can tell the dishes are made with so much love and care. We both enjoyed our meals immensely; each dish was as perfect as the last.
I would happily drive from Portsmouth any day of the week just to dine here, or to grab take away. – it’s absolutely worth it. The kindness and warmth of the staff alone make the visit worth your time, but the food is what truly makes it a gem. If you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine or even just curious to try, Martha’s is THE place! Can’t recommend it enough.

We stumbled upon this delicious daily owned restaurant on our way north up the coast, and what a treat! Fantastic Falafel! Bodacious Babaganoush! Super Stuffed Grape leaves. Killer Kabobs. Hummus hurrahs all around. Try this out if you are close!

George has some of the best food around — especially the stuffed cabbage, which is always delicious and made with so much care. Every time I go in, the employees are happy, welcoming, and truly enjoy what they do. The positive energy in this place is amazing.
I also love the bonus plan — it’s such a thoughtful touch. When you spend a certain amount, you get something back, and it really shows how much they appreciate their customers.
But honestly, even without the bonuses, I’d keep coming back. The food is always yummy, the atmosphere is warm, and the people who work there make you feel like family.

We just had the freshest and most delish food from Martha’s tonight. They consistanly serve the most tender, juicy lamb kebobs, rice pilaf, humis and other Lebanese delicisies. If you have not tried their authentic food, you are missing out!

This quaint little spot is an absolute diamond. The service is top notch and the earnestness that is taken in talking about the different dishes shows how much the staff wants to share their food. Speaking of the food it’s an absolute wonder. We tried the Khoussa and Shawarma with a side of spicy hummus. The hummus stole the show but it did not stop us from demolishing our plates. If you are in the area or just passing through, like me, this place is worth the stop.

This is such a lovely family owned business. The staff were so kind and we loved chatting with the owner’s son.
The portions and freshness were both impeccable. Especially loved the salad dressings, the beautifully done medium rare lamb, the smooth hummus, and the lamb special with green beans. Really though, everything was delicious and very fairly priced, and we were happy to have such yummy leftovers. Wish we had one of these in my town!

Our first time visiting Martha’s and it certainly won’t be our last! The food is so fresh and the staff is so friendly! We had the chicken kabob wrap, lamb kabob wrap, zaatar fries and the baklava. All were fantastic. They have a small indoor seating area and plenty of picnic tables outside. They even brought our pup a bowl of water. Seriously add this place to your list!
