Plaza Pizza delivered on an awesome pie.
We ordered delivery through their mobile app. Checkout was quick and easy.
Pizza arrived via doordash, and was hot and made correctly, with pep, extra sauce+cheese.
Their cracker crust is thin, and crunchy, without being too hard, or tough.
It even stood up great to the extra sauce that we requested on our order.
The sauce was delicious-a little tangy, but not too spicy.
We will be ordering again soon!

Plaza Pizza in Newark is exactly what a local pizza spot should be. They also have shops in Johnstown and Heath. The pizza is always hot, fresh, and loaded with excellent toppings, along with a delicious crust. You can tell they care about quality, from the sauce to the cheese and overall execution.
The staff is always friendly and efficient, and orders are accurate and on time. It has that classic neighborhood feel where you know you’re supporting a local business that takes pride in what they do.
If you’re in the Newark area and want reliable, great-tasting pizza without the gimmicks, Plaza Pizza is a must-try. Highly recommend!

So there’s this pizza place out in Heath Ohio that originally started back in I think the 70’s. Drove all the way up from Columbus.
Apparently it’s their hometown pizza spot and the folks in area really love it!
It’s a family owned restaurant which is a carry out only. They have this sub called the Torpedo and by the way, they put cucumbers on it! Ironically it paired perfectly with the sub. So whatever you do, leave it alone! It’s absolutely perfect their way! The pizza isn’t this crazy over the top fancy pizza and honestly it doesn’t need to be because it’s just damn good pizza! Solid mid-west crunch, I can 100% see this being the small town pizza place to get pizza from!
I’m telling you right now that their dessert pizza called Shirley Lou, (named after their grandmother) is thee best dessert pizza on the face of the earth! Someone change my mind?
Oh and the manger Olivia makes these cookies and you’re gonna want some of those while you’re there too!

We had the opportunity to visit Plaza Pizza this evening. Although we are not from the Heath area, we hear that it is one of Heath’s favorite pizza establishments. We can absolutely see why.
We were intrigued by the pictures alone and the thin crust. We were hoping it would be cracker like and it absolutely was. The ingredients were fresh. The pizzas were full of flavor. The staff was incredible and the ordering process was super simple. I do believe, that this is one of the best pizzas that I have had in Central Ohio and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza!
Although they don’t have a dine in option, we went a few miles down the road to a park and enjoyed pizza at the park. It was the perfect Saturday evening.
My only complaint is that there is one not closer to me. I absolutely would be a frequent visitor and I can see why Heath loves going there.
If you happen to stop in, make sure that you also purchase some of the homemade cookies that are being sold. As described to me, they taste like grandma’s kitchen. And they really do. Very nostalgic.

Unlike many places, Plaza Heath does not play music in the lobby which is a plus. Their food is top tier, served by employees who know what they’re doing. Plaza Pizza has such an influence on our Heath community. I am so thankful for this wonderful place. If you have never tried this pizza, I highly recommend. Get the Shirley Lou…you WILL NOT regret.

I love walking into a business and being acknowledged within the first few seconds of walking in. This doesn’t happen here often. I get being busy but it takes no effort to say “welcome in” or hello ill be with u in a minute…Plaza pizza is amazing my favorite around Newark and Heath. The food was hot and baked up perfectly. It’s a Lil more expensive than most places so it’s more a treat or when I find a discount that we eat here. I always suggest Plaza! I used the new online ordering directly with Plaza and it was easy and quick! Saved money too!
