At our Columbus, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

After seeing the Lobster Feast advertised on TV, my friend and I decided to try an order. The order consists of 2 lobster rolls and a side of your choice. Captain D’s has many side orders to chose from and we chose a baked potato. I was surprised that the lobster rolls were really good. The baked potato was also good and very hot. The only thing that would make this order better is if the lobster rolls were larger, but for the price it’s not a bad deal. The reason the service was not awarded 5 stars is because the butter and sour cream was originally left out of our to go order and we had to go back to get them.

3 people working. Out of sauces and menu items. Was shorted fish and shirmp on my plate. Cook got smart about having to cook missing items. Loud unprofessional conversations going on behind counter. Drink dispenser was moldy. Trash was over flowing. Positives were that lady brought drinks and food to our table.

Nasty food wasn’t seasoned i haven’t been to captain d’s in 2 years in columbus ms highway 45 line was long waited 30 minutes for food got home to open me and wife plate it was like they was feeding a Yorkie small portions for all 35 dollars do better or close the crappie place will never go back again we are pissed
