Every time we visit Lake Placid, we try a new food spot. This was hands down some of the best food we’ve had in Lake Placid. My husband and I sat in a lot of silence eating it. He got the lamb & beef platter, I got the chicken platter. Fresh ingredients, authentic flavors. We got take out, but the inside is clean, the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! We will absolutely get food from here anytime we are in the area!

Non descript place serving really nice Greek goodies. We had appetizers including halumi, Greek salad spinach pie (spanakopita), chicken kabobs, and tatziki spread with pita. All freshly prepared while we waited only about ten minutes. Definitely recommend.

This place rocks. The food is really good. Some of the best, freshest chicken i’ve had in a gyro.I always judge a greek restaurant by the lemon potatoes and these are simple and tasty.

Make sure you check your order. The last time we did take out, the salad dressing was missing. This time, the entire salad and dressing was missing. The food is good. And the people are nice. Never had this issue when dining in. We also never know when they are open. Some days they are closed when they should be open. So it’s a bit confusing. Nevertheless I enjoy the food.

We came here for lunch after our hike and was impressed by the food and service. This resto is quite small with less than 20 seats but we managed to get seats at the bar. I feel like most people do takeout here. We ordered the tzatziki with extra pita, the shrimp platter with rice, the chicken pita and the feta pie. Everything tasted fresh and homemade! Our favourites were the shrimp platter and chicken pita. The shrimp was well seasoned and fried nicely . The chicken was very juicy and had a nice grilled flavour! We had tried the pork and chicken platter last time and loved it by unfortunately they did not have any that day. Will be coming back again when in town!

Read reviews before going. As good as expected…. Best Greek since eating in Greece! Chicken platter with potatoes and a Greek salad….delicious! The place was so good we ate x2 on a 3-day stay in the town. Small dining room, go early or you will have to wait or get takeout. They stay busy, with reason!

We looked at google reviews for local restaurants, and this one got almost a 5. It’s a local restaurant with a take out option. We went and ordered at the counter. Sat down and waited for our very fresh food to come out. The salad was perfect, and the dressing was light and delicious. We ordered the platter…one chicken one pork. The chicken was sooooooo juicy and delicious. The pork was also extremely tasty. The fries are not crisp, but they are good. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Nice staff! Small sitting area.

If you love Greek food, you HAVE to try this place. If you’ve never had Greek food, you HAVE to try this place. We got the Greek salad and chicken souvlaki. There is beer, wine and seltzer to choose from. Not the largest inside, but has places to sit! They had Greek music playing when we went. You order and pay at the counter and then enjoy your food. It was busy bur food still came out fast and friendly!

Do try even if you are a vegetarian.
The staff is good and friendly.
We tried
– Falafel Platter with Lemon Potato & Pita (4/5)
– Greek Wings (3/5)
Good food but the salad can be less oily.
When you order ask them NOT to drizzles extra oil on potatoes and salad

1. Food: Outstanding lam and beef and chicken platters, we also should have gotten more of the meatball soup.
2. People: Our waiter George, was excited and attentive even while busy, he put together tables for our largish group. Overall everyone was friendly and fast.
3. Timing: 15min tops for food and they were quick with everything.
4. Price: 5 of us ate for about $100, but I’ll point out we all got platters which are on the upper end of their menu, but we all agreed are worth it!
5. Facility: Well done Greek decorations with hints of Olympic history. It is more of a shop with maybe seating for 15-20, so big groups might be tough.
