Route 66 Burrito House has a great variety of food! Great burgers and awesome big burritos! The Chile Relleno Burrito was big and full of flavor. You can customize the meat in your burrito. The California Burrito was bursting with flavors including fresh avocado. The chips were very well done with the perfect crunch. Very nice variety of salsas available with different heat levels. Highly recommend and will be back to try more menu items! Carterville, Missouri’s new hidden gem.

We went there to eat during our route 66 road trip. What an amazing lady, amazing food and abeautiful little restaurant. They were so friendly there. Delicious over and over. Definitely a place to come back.

My chili verde burrito was very good. I got it with carnitas. Pork was prepared perfectly. Large tortilla stuffed with carnitas, pico de gallo, lettuce, rice, etc. smothered with a chili verde sauce. The only negative is that you have to pay for chips and salsa.
