Place and food used to be nice when it was Red Chilli but now the staff are rude and dismissive and the food is bad. I ordered palak paneer and it was practically just spinach soup and rubbery paneer with an undercooked garlic naan and they no longer give rice like they used to. Everything was better before they turned to desserts and to make you stay away even more from this place – I saw the worker pick his teeth and then touch the dessert which he then brought out to a table. Very gross and not worth it

We ordered appetizer (samosa chaat) first, after having almost the whole dish we saw a mosquito in the piece of samosa and it is absolutely disgusting.Thankfully, we hadn’t ordered our main courses yet. The experience was enough to make us walk out immediately.This restaurant recently rebranded from Red Chilli to Chocolate Wala, but unfortunately, the name is the only thing that’s changed. The hygiene standards remain shockingly poor. Save yourself the disappointment (and possible health risk) — avoid this place at all costs.

Monday night dinner. This place has pivoted to a focus on dessert. Hence the name change to Chocolate Wala. They still offer a dinner menu, but skip it. We ordered two chicken dishes and garlic Naan. I had a plate of bones at the end. Very difficult to eat with a knife and fork. The food was served hot, but we were never visited again. We had to ask for utensils. After we finished, we had to approach the back counter to pay. The place was overly cold. We were the only table. Others changed their mind due to the temperature. The bright spot was that I ordered the Pistachio cheesecake to go. It was THE BEST cheesecake I have had in some time. They have the right focus on the desserts, now just work on the customer service. Oh, and get rid of the dinner menu if your heart is not into it.

One and done, sorry. The sauce for the food was thin and runny as if someone added to much oil. Bread was fine rice was fine. Spice was there but this wasent the best

Went for dinner with my spouse on a Saturday evening and from the get go the service was atrocious. The lady just sat at the front desk and was on her phone the entire time, wanting us to stand up and go to her to order and pay the check. She messed up the order and brought us something we didn’t order but blamed the kitchen for it. The mutton karahi was very bland. The roti very dry and cracks not fresh at all. The chicken biryani was good though. Very disappointed as a Sri Lankan because South Asian places are extremely few and far between on Suffolk County. Only two stars as the bathroom was clean and the lemonade was great!

The food quality was just disgusting, in the name of paneer makhani they gave me paneer cube in tomato pury. The consistency of gravy was almost like water and it was absolutely tasteless. I complained the owner about this and that guy told me that may be you had different paneer makhani other places. What the F? I have been eating vegetarian and paneer item since my childhood, he has no idea how to cook those things. And yeah, the naan was not fresh and it was absolutely microwaved from frozen box. I had so many complains for all the items that I have ordered, I would not recommend this place to anyone for sure❌ the place was also dirty and utensils like spoon, glass and dishes were not clean at all. I regret my choose to eat at this restaurant as I was not local to the place and decided to go there.

Nice desi place .. my brother told me about the new management so i had to try it out. great food , really liked goat biryani n delicious goat karahi. Was super excited to have a good south asian food place open up only a couple minutes drive from us since desi place r far off in suffolk county. Excellent tea! One of the best I have ever had. Both doodh Pati n kashmiri tea. Staff is really nice too. Love the gol gappas n the dipping water was v tasty,the best i had n the paratha n halwa puri!

I’ve placed an order for a mix grill kebab(only chicken items) they gave me lamb cubes also, Chicken sheek kebab and Goat Biriyani, I’ve waited for 40 mins to get the order and when I was too hungry and decided to eat the biriyani, They advertised it as a goat biriyani and what they gave is a lamb biriyani, I’m allergic to Lamb meat, When I’ve called them and enquired about what kind of meat they’ve used, They said they use goat but not the first quality baby goat, When you know you are doing something wrong atleast freaking provide good customer service, Look at the pictures of the meat and it clearly defines that it is lamb meat. Worst experience ever, I dont suggest the biriyani, I slept with an empty stomach because of you guys(Red Chilli Management), remember this guys
