Overall, we had a very enjoyable dinner. The restaurant is beautiful, with thoughtful attention to even the smallest details, and it has a truly high-end feel. The intimate, low lighting creates a lovely ambiance, though it does make the menu a bit difficult to read; the adjustable table lamp was a nice and appreciated touch.
We ordered from the set-price menu, which offered great value for the cost. Standout dishes of the evening were the fried calamari, clam chowder, New York strip steak, and tiramisu. A few of the other items were just okay, and the complimentary bread was underwhelming.
That said, it’s clear the restaurant genuinely cares about the overall dining experience. It’s a beautiful space, and I would definitely return.

Yay new restaurant in Ventura! I was keeping my eye out for their opening and my boyfriend took me on a great date here. Really fantastic cocktail selection. Good and attentive service. Food was tasty and offered a lot of options, really good fixed priced dinner menu they offered. I’m hopeful for this new spot!

Sadly we had a similar experience as the review before us. Reservations at 7, for 3, we got sat down at 7:38pm. We ordered appetizers lobster stuffer portobello mushrooms and half dozen oysters. It showed up, no side plates for sharing, the oysters had no seafood fork just 6 of them sitting on a somewhat cold plate with just lemons. At least 10 minutes went by no server. (By no server i mean the server never came back at all). I ate one of the oysters and its was barely even cold. Had to send them back and cancel that order once a manager/another server helped out.
The 16oz Porter house and T bone steaks might have been a half inch thick at best which I found odd for a steakhouse, but to the credit it had good flavor. Their drinks are fantastic, we know it’s a new restaurant and hope in a few months they get it figured out and we might come back and have a nice experience. We dropped over $340 dollars, check came back with the oysters still on it, had to ask to get it removed. Nothing was comped and at the very least we could have got an apology from the manager sitting

A solid new choice for Ventura. Food was very good, service was adequate. Higher priced that your typical cafe but not exorbitant. Very alcohol focused though and we are not drinkers so that did not add anything to our experience. I would imagine it gets pretty noisy if there are many diners there as it is just one big room with hard surfaces. I hope they offer takeout service at some point.

Our entire experience was great, the food, the ambiance, just everything. We were a party of five and had amazing service from everyone at the establishment. We ordered several 3 course dinners and 2 other entrees and every plate came out great and so did all of our drinks. It’s one of the best restaurants in Ventura that I have been to in a long time! Will be coming back often, I’ve only been during their dinner service but looking forward to trying their breakfast as well! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and their prices were very reasonable.

Beautiful restaurant. But If you are going to have a dress code have a dress code, dont turn your nose up and then give us cold burnt food. We paid $400 for dinner just like everybody else.

Came for brunch and at first impression, this looked like a really nice fancy place. The decor seemed fancy, but that’s where the good things stopped for us.
I ordered the Chile Verde and Eggs. The Chile Verde was passable, but nothing id order again. The pork was tender but the salsa was unimpressive. The home potatoes seemed old and stale. They were barely warmed and had a crunch to them like they were leftovers. That said, we were the first customers of the day arriving shortly after they opened for the day.
Service was stilted and not knowledgeable of the menu. I when I ordered the “Chile Verde and Eggs”, she responded as if she wasn’t familiar with that item and was scrolling through her electronic ordering device and finally replied, “oh, PORK Chile Verde and Eggs,” as that is exactly how it’s written on the menu.
We asked if the steak and cheese omelet had any veggies in it, because we’d like an item with veggies. She said she didn’t know for sure, but she “thinks” its just steak and cheese.
Overall, not a place I’d race back to. The decor does give the impression of high quality and standards, but overall they need to up their food game and the servers really need to study the menu more when trying to be a fancy high quality restaurant.

To top it off great selection in drinks and the staff is fabulous. This compares to a top tier Beverly Hills restaurant. “Prime steaks” you can not go wrong with this place.

We just had a wonderful Dinner Celebration, our server was so amazing, he was very polite and friendly, we had a party of 5 and everyone one loved their meal, it was all served on time, delicious and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the meal. This is my third time visiting there and I am so happy that Ventura has a great option for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! Keep up the great job!!
