The Mojo chicken sandwich had such unique flavor and so juicy. The burger was good as well. The owner/bartender was very friendly and conversational. We were looking for somewhere new to go, so glad we tried this. Very good food, service, and atmosphere. We will be back

MD’s got started on the way up about 7 years ago and I have been there more than a few times. The day bartender is the owner’s son, so basically he’s an owner and you can tell. If you are sitting at the bar this guy has the coasters out before you sit down and if they are out of something food or drink he let’s you know before you ask and he’s got recommendations on substitutions. He knows the menu backwards and forwards and he’s well spoken, well kept and just a damn good bartender. The menu has quite a few app and entree choices that you just don’t get anywhere else and it’s definitely the best Midwest lunch – lite only complaint snack type of place that’s missing in the world of lunch today. It’s not formal, there’s no dress code, there’s gaming (you gotta have gaming or you get skipped), and if asked my only complaint would be the bathrooms are super small and could be cleaner. The bathrooms are cleaner than the average bar but not clean like Jim’s Steakhouse either and these guys are bumping for a top lunch spot around here. The chain eatery’s don’t have a chance and out North that leaves Olympia and they are about the same price, different menus, different vibe but still good. MD’s also has a few sauces that are house signatures and they can hang their hat on those. Large selection of appetizers, good selection of beers and the slots make MD’s one of the top spots around but the tiny bathrooms don’t clinch the spot but they’re good at what they do no doubt about it.,

Had such a weird experience. Our friends wanted to try a new bar – we had food. The chicken in the wrap was burnt and it wss $21 for fries & a wrap. We stuck around for drinks – the bartender who is older – was extremely off putting and rude. I asked if it was possible to turn the jukebox on (I had loaded songs and realized they weren’t playing) and she told me she could only play it in half the bar and I said ok no problem! She was super off putting about it. Then, She came into the area where the darts machine was and yelled in there about putting our coats on the golf machine. She wasn’t talking directly to us but into the area said “get your stuff off of there so people can play it” no one wanted or asked to play it. There was no open tables around the dart machine. She could have politely asked us and we would have respectfully done what she had asked. Just overall super weird behavior. In the times of bars / restaurants struggling – this is not how you treat someone new.i hope she finds kindness!

I have been twice. Both times food was excellent! My family considers themselves” wing connosaurs” so I definitely had to return with them to check out the amazing selection of wings!!! We had the bourbon dry rub, mild garlic Parmesan, Chipotle bbq, and honey hot- ALL were delicious Large meaty wings – which we personally love!!!
Definitely will return

Disappointed the owner waited on me. She overcharged me by $5. Yes they where busy or is that normal practice. Food ok. $23 for a pony shoe! Permeate pass. Sloooow service.

I’m not too proud to admit it when I can’t get it right, you don’t have to have it all, but don’t treat me or talk to me rudely and offensively because I probably won’t be coming back when I leave
