Bar / Dining room type place. Server did a very good job taking care of a party of 11 guest. Food came promptly and in good order. It was hot and good taste. Sausage was great, rice and beans were a little bit on the salty side. Overall it was good, will come back.

The pickles cut through with a sharp snap, the onions added just enough bite, and the barbecue sauce? Balanced, smoky, and confident. Sweet without being cloying. Messy in all the right ways.
Then there were the sides — not afterthoughts, not filler. A generous scoop of macaroni and cheese that leaned into comfort: creamy, rich, and reassuring, like it knew exactly what it was there to do. The beans and rice came in a portion that suggested hospitality rather than accounting — hearty, savory, and grounding the plate with substance. This was food made to satisfy a real hunger, the kind you earn. No gimmicks, no shortcuts, just honest cooking that delivers more than promised. I left full, happy, and already plotting my return — which is, in the end, the highest compliment you can give a restaurant.
If there’s a flaw to be found, it lives firmly below the waist. The chairs seem designed for a more hopeful, less barbecue-committed version of the human body. They do the job, technically, but they ask a lot of anyone who’s come prepared to eat with purpose. When a place serves food this generous, the seating should probably assume you’ve got an adult-sized butt — and ambitions to use it.

I am glad I went with a friend ( not my choice). I love that Edinburg is growing, but managers and supervisors should be aware of training and making sure atandards are being met.
*The flour tortillas on my tacos were tosted ( not because I asked for it) and coming apart in pieces.
* I ordered potato salad that was not brought to me with my food
* The person who was helping us only came to take our orders , brought our food, and NEVER came back to check on us ( I would have asked for my potato salad)
Upon receiving our check, we noticed they charge you .75 cents for the jalapeño ( other BBQ places have them FREEEEEE)
I would never go back. I would visit our regular BBQ place were we get excellent service

Quality meal for good price. Stopped by on my way home and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty my meal was. The brisket fries were meaty, although I didn’t care much for the cheese sauce. Really also like their take on the beef ribs; so that was a really nice touch.

Baked potato with brisket was okay. The potato had grayish areas as it was an old potato and didn’t taste too good. The brisket wasn’t tasty and it was pretty greasy. It did look good, however the taste wasn’t there. I also didn’t like that staff in front area were eating/snacking and didn’t wash hands when tending to people.

My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich and fell in love with the bread. Nicely baked. I ordered the fajita tacos and they were also very good. I ordered to-go and food was ready in about 10 minutes.
Place looked very nice and clean. Food was very good. Prices are fair and amounts of food are more than fair compared to other joints. I Highly recommend!

I give the food 4 stars, because the brisket sandwiches taste nice at first, but recently they tasted a little dry. I prefer this brisket sandwiches here than at Rudy’s barbecue. To the people that read my reviews. I tried to get a pic of where people can relax, but I made the others uncomfortable so I tried to take a quick picture so they can enjoy there meals.

Really tasty bbq spot that looks like a big chain fancy restaurant but packs a lot of flavor. It tste great in my opinion without the spicy bbq sauce but I love that hot spice. We literally got almost all the appetizers to try a little of everything and boy did we fill up. Portions are good and enough to share for sure. Server was helpful & very informative, kitchen prepped food quick & hot. Definitely will keep coming back for more soon.
