We went here for our anniversary. Huge mistake!! Would never recommend this place to anyone. The tamale I got was so overcooked and hard, as was the taquito, I couldn’t even bite into them. The fish was ok but again, it was so overcooked, you could only eat the center of it. Much of it was soups of some type but we couldn’t identify what it was even though we are extremely familiar with Mexican cuisine. They seated us right next to a speaker and the music was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. No one spoke English. None of what we tasted had any flavor to it. For this they charged $18 each??? I have never been to a Mexican restaurant this bad. We picked at the food, then left and got some decent food elsewhere. Since moving here from San Antonio, we have had mostly mediocre Mexican food at best but this was absolutely the worst.

Went in during the week to check this place out the guy said come on the weekend it’s really good, he also said it was $14 a person. We (3) went on Saturday and they didn’t have any kind of shrimp or carne asada, just no one much of anything tbh. The horchata had no cinnamon in it, it was like condensed milk mixed with water, the bill came to $76 basically for beans and rice. They brought about 6-8 tortillas once to a family of 3, never checked on us. The food was old, it was out too long. I’m not sure why we would go on Saturday as suggested….what was better? Definitely will not return again.

I read the reviews and decided to try it! I’m from another state with a large Hispanic population and have eaten a lot authentic Hispanic food. I was very impressed with the quality! The catfish was amazing!! Theres a lot of variety. And the horchata is homemade and delicious!! I took some to go even! The owners are the cooks and staff and very friendly! When I walked in she asked what kind of tortilla I wanted, then she went and made them right there and brought them to my table! I wish that I lived closer!!
Dont let the outside fool you! Or the fact that’s buffet style. Go, it’s worth it!!

Honestly I wasn’t expecting much from this place. But for the most part. If you like pork reins in sauce and spicy eggs with weinees and mole . You hit the jackpot. Wish I had a place like this in my neighborhood. Great service. Prices are the same as expected for a buffet. Definitely my spot next time I’m here.

I was looking forward to nopalitos after reading reviews and seeing pics but they didn’t have them out when we got there. Great customer service though…I asked the lady chef about them and she heated some up for us on the spot!! Catfish, tortillas, nopalitos, red-seasoned chicken, horchata, and tamarindo were all tasty tasty!!! Great place

Recently moved into an apartment right across the street from this place so I decided to give it a shot after a day of paperwork from work. A little confusing as no one is there to sit you down but I just asked the nice woman at the counter and she instructed me to just grab a plate and serve myself. Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Growing up in a Mexican household, I can say it was very authentic. The service was great, the ladies cooking behind the counter were very polite as was my server. I’ll definitely be coming in when I get the chance!
