Outright Rip-Off and Dishonest
Today the Briskets & Gravy food truck came to our neighborhood and this was one of the worst food truck experiences we’ve ever had.
We ordered a 2-meat plate, which clearly states on the menu that the brisket portion is 1/4 lb (4 oz) plus two ribs. When we received our food, the brisket looked noticeably small, so we weighed it at home with a kitchen scale – it came out to only 3 oz, a full 25% less than what we paid for.
We went back politely to ask about the discrepancy. Their response was shocking:
They flatly denied any mistake, insisting that “all brisket portions are pre-packaged and always at least 4 oz.”
When we showed them our scale and weighed it in front of them, they started making excuses about “moisture loss” instead of apologizing.
We then asked them to weigh an uncut packaged brisket piece, which came out to 5.4 oz, clearly proving that they cut down a larger pre-portioned piece before serving us, directly contradicting their claim.
Even with proof in front of them, they continued to argue and showed zero accountability. Only after they realized they were caught did they reluctantly admit “a mistake” and offer compensation with no genuine apology or professionalism.
Given their dishonest portioning + combative attitude + refusal to take responsibility, we chose not to eat the food, returned and requested a full refund. They accepted it. We also documented everything with photos as evidence.
If you don’t want to be shorted on portions, gaslit, or treated like you don’t know what you’re talking about – DO NOT COME!

The chili advertises that there is brisket in it. I trusted the signage. Not one piece of brisket in the chili. Just ground beef. Very disappointing and i felt angry for being fooled by the false advertising. I dont normally leave reviews but these guys need to start loading up the chili with brisket, or they’re definitely going under. People talk.

They gave me a whisper of bbq sauce on my “bbq chicken”. How are you gonna call it bbq chicken on your menu when there is only the fleeting thought of bbq sauce on that thing. I can tell the food would be good if it wasn’t cold when I got it. Every single item was cold but I was waiting for my food for over 10 minutes? The least they can do is warm it up. This place would be good if they made fresh food.

Food lackluster – could not tell if it was brisket or just ground beef in the slider.
Bad Point-Of-Sale tablet, beware! They use a Pax brand, different from most payment tablets. It changed my inputted tip from $2 to $20 and instantly applied without any confirm, an ok, nor gave receipt. The server was very polite but had no power to edit.

I ordered the brisket sliders. It comes with 2 sliders and waffle fries. My sliders had a single piece of brisket on them that was the thickness of lunch meat, exactly the dimensions of the bun, and hard. There was about half a tea spoon of gravy on each. The cheese and buns were good and appropriately sized, which was great, because that’s all I could taste. Waffle fries were good. There were 8, 4 large and 4 small. Essentially I received the equivalent of a cheese sandwich and 1/2 a small order of fries and if it was $8 I wouldn’t have cared but it was $16 + tip of course, because the service was efficient if disinterested. I have no idea if the brisket or gravy is good here but if you are curious don’t order the sliders as a way to try them.

Got the 2 meat with side…chicken was very good and tender, brikset was pretty good too. Mac was a tad bit dry, everything was decent but the amount of food for a 30 dollar plate wasn’t up to my expectations, …Other than that, it was a good meal.

Sinfully delicious! The brisket and gravy waffle fries are to die for, super yummy. Had the brisket bites aswell and they were pretty tasty. The customer service is great as well. Guy behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend

This fried chicken is MOMEY! I suggest the creamy BBQ sauce as well! You won’t be disappointed! If yall like crispy… then please tell the cook to put it in for 10 minutes, super juicy and loaded with flavor! The waffle fries definitely add value to the plethora of fireworks from your tastebuds!

3rd time eating at this food cart. Every time the food has been amazing . You can choose 3 different bbq sauce spice levels. Waffle fries are crispy, not greasy.
