Reviews
With so many items on the menu, we narrowed it down to the Maki & Sashimi Combo, a couple of carpaccios, and a shrimp tempura roll. The quality and presentation was top notch. They also have a large drink menu featuring sake, beer, soju, and non-alcoholic beverages.
The staff was kind and attentive. I love the decor, lighting, and layout of the dining area with comfy booths, some with high walls for privacy, and the bar seating looked great too.
I’d definitely come back again and try more items, and maybe the AYCE when my appetite is big enough. This place is worth checking out
Their carpaccio is also really, really good, but just a heads up — it’s limited to one order per person and not included as unlimited. They do offer all-you-can-eat. As far as rolls go, the only ones I personally enjoyed were the rainbow roll and the Philadelphia roll. I also like getting their miso soup and baked mussels. For sashimi, I usually go with salmon, tuna, albacore, shrimp, and eel.
The menu is very extensive with a lot of choices and specials, and the prices are reasonable. They’re also open until 2:00 a.m., which is a plus.
The staff is very nice. They weren’t super attentive, but it was a Friday night and they were busy, so it’s understandable. It would’ve been nice to get refills on our water and soda without having to ask, though.
One thing I will note — the bathroom was pretty messy and not very clean. However, the interior of the restaurant itself was clean and well kept.
Overall, it’s not bad at all. I’d mainly come back for that Cajun salmon sashimi.
My wife had the 3 item bento box (Dinner) with Teriyaki Chicken, Deep fried Cali roll (+$3.00) salad and mixed veggies. There was also a bowl of Miso soup. The Chicken was incredible and there was SO MUCH. The fried veggies were in a nice light and crunchy batter. The salad went untouched, but only because it was a Sesame Vinnegrate
I had the All You Can Eat Dinner.
Dragon Roll, Giant Salmon, Flower, Spicy Salmon Handroll, Yellowtail/Albacore/Salmon/Tuna/Yellowtail Carpaccio/and Blue Fin Tuna Nigiri. (1st Round) Every single piece was delicious. The Albacore actually blew me away, it was so clean. Really just a super delicate bite all around for the Blue Fin Tuna – very soft flavor and incredibly light.
Second (and final) round was a mix of more Nigiri. Albacore/Surf Clam/Octopus/Fresh Water Eel and the Scallops. A great way to cleanse the pallet and end the meal. So good. Surf Clam was a first for me, honestly a really solid bite.
Overall, with tip (we had sodas as well) it came out to 85usd.
WORTH IT. definitely coming back
Ordered A la carte and the sushi roll were super delicious. Appetizers were okay, would definitely go back for All you can eat!
We asked for the check and were not initially offered any sort of discount for the inconvenience, despite only eating 1/3 of what the price of AYCE promises. There was no manager present at the location, so our server had to call her manager back and forth with our concern. We were initially offered only $6 off a $62.47 check. We ultimately ended up paying $54.93 – too much money to leave still hungry.
