The person I was with asked for extra ginger for their sushi and was told it would be extra cost like $1
I used “Seamless” for online order, it was anything but. Took forever to order, and when the order was finalized it switched it from general tso to something different.
The staff at Hong Kong were amazing and they switched it out for me back to general tso without any trouble whatsoever.
I’ll definitely be coming back here. I’ll probably order over the phone though for sure. Cut out the middleman and avoid confusion.
My husband picked up our takeout order. We got the beef w/ broccoli and I got the garlic sauce w/ beef, plus a pint of lo mein to share.
Upon opening both trays, they looked identical except one had bell peppers. I think it’s funny how there’s no clear distinction between their dishes because they use the same vegetables in everything. Both of our sauces look the same in color and texture (super greasy you can see the oil floating on top). Mine should be spicy but there’s no spiciness in it. The lo mein was really off today as it was mushy and lacked flavor. The beef is questionable. It has a very chewy texture where I couldn’t finish chewing and ended up spitting it out. The fried rice was really dry too. This place seemed promising at the beginning. Overall, it’s a hit or miss. Today was a total flop in food and service. They put only one spoon and fork for an order of 2 dishes. No napkins. Sadly, this is the only decent Chinese American restaurant close to us.

I just ordered takeout from this place and while I was eating out of my takeout tray, I found a piece of hair. I took it out and laid it on the lid to take these pictures. It looks like facial hair. I think the staff needs to be alarmed and practice hygiene and wear masks or hairnets. Earlier while I was sitting in the restaurant and waiting for my food, the older woman who worked there was coughing a lot. I looked over and she was coughing all over the napkins that she was folding. They could seriously be shut down from the Food Inspection Agency for poor hygiene and sanitation. With Covid spreading again, this should not be taken lightly. People can get sick and there’s no reason to be lenient about it.
