Love of incredible pizza with a delicious beer is universal. But, how do you stand apart from the competition, big and small? Simple: just add fire. Slinging wood fired fare since 1998, Brixx serves gourmet pizzas and wings, fresh salads, sandwiches and pastas; accompanied by a full bar with 24 craft drafts, 14 wines by the glass and custom cocktails. Our traditional and whole wheat dough, hummus, fresh mozzarella, wood-roasted chicken, salad dressings and more are scratchmade in-house. We give back to the community through Brixx Buxx events and beyond. When our neighbors need a hand, we’re there to help. That’s something Managing Partners Eric, Jeff and Barbara have insisted on from jump. We do more than make pizza – we craft connections.
Part of a chain featuring pizza from a wood-fired brick oven, plus sandwiches & craft beers.

Reviews
Started the meal off with Brixx Stixx that were definitely freshly made but a little dry and needed the marinara sauce and it was lacking flavor without the sauce. Ate the Roasted Chicken Penne which was yummy. I split this meal and was pleasantly surprised that when I mentioned the split to the waiter, the meal came to the table with presplit portions.
I would eat here again.
1 They have a 91.7 sanitation score. Should have turned back then.
2. The hoste was a grungy, hobo looking guy who made it clear he could care less.
3. He tried to seat us right beside the stack of empty pizza boxes beside the bar. Because apparently this is pizza takeout/bar – not a dine-in restuarant.
4. I had to actually point out a table that looked maybe, kinda, clean that we would prefer.
5. The place smelled like a wet campfire. Literally had to change clothes when we got home. Learn how to actually use the woodfire oven, please.
6. Skimpy overcooked pizzas.
7. No drink refills.
8. And the worst for last. The same grungy host stood behind the bar after a bit and proceeded to pick his nose, wipe his hands all over his face, and touch the bar surfaces.
This is no longer a dine-in restuarant. Go there at your own risk.
On the brighter side, the food was decent, meeting our expectations for a casual pizza place. However, what truly stood out was our waiter, who delivered exceptional customer service. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor almost made up for the initial negative impression.
While the quality of the food and the waiter’s excellent service were positives, the hostess’s behavior unfortunately put a damper on our evening. Given this experience, I may wait a few weeks before returning, in the hope that either the hostess has moved on or management has addressed the issue. Brixx Pizza has potential, but they need to ensure that all staff contribute positively to the dining experience.
Brick was the only decent restaurant which was open for food.
We got a buffalo chicken and a spicy shrimp pizza.
Not sure if the pizza was intentionally made to not be round or it was just a quick job shape. Nevertheless, the base tasted good.
We enjoyed both the pizzas and would definitely come again.
Only wished that the chicken and shrimp pieces were tossed in good quantities since it tasted so fresh and well seasoned, we definitely wanted a few more bites of them in the pizza.
Edit: I had to come back and update my review to highlight a special employee. His name is Aiden and he is amazing. He basically is the only server when we go and he takes such good care of us. I have tried the other Brixx locations ( Brier Creek and Chapel Hill) and they suck as far as staff and their food. So I will have to continue to make the trip to this location…I know I won’t be disappointed ❤️
