We were driving through Tularosa and happened to see Ugly Pies. We originally just wanted coffee but there were so many yummy looking pastries and pies that we thought we had to give a try. We ended up getting a peach danish along with slice of Tiramisu. Both were incredibly delicious. Dakota was also amazing with serving us in the brief time we were there. I will definitely be returning!

Cozy indoor space, however we were very disappointed in their baked goods. We bought 6 small pies, scones and cookies.
The chocolate cream was the best out of the bunch but tasted as if it were a few days old. The banana cream pie’s custard was hard. The fruit pies were just as lacking with the fillings being totally dry. There was no moisture and not edible. The pies were sitting in a display cabinet and were individually wrapped ( I suggest undoing one a really inspecting it before you buy). As for the cookies they were decent.

This place has the best Key Lime Pie and Apple Dutch pies that my taste buds has ever tasted! Will definitely be ordering my birthday cakes from here from now on!
