Oh my word!!! Let me start off by saying the inside of this restaurant looks like a dream! From the paintings and decor on the walls to the fun lights hung around the bar area. Immediately in awe when we walked through the doors! To add on I want to give the biggest compliment to our server, I believe her name was Keegan (forgive me if I botched that). She was the cutest, sweetest, and most attentive server. She had my husband and I’s table plus 2 more nearby and her politeness or attentiveness never changed. Lastly, the food!! 10/10 highly recommended! It was the best tasting Mexican food we have had in a very long time. The only negative thing I have to say is I would recommend to the boss man hairnets to the cooks. Definitely will be stopping by again when we are around the area.

From the moment we walked in my husband and I were impressed. The atmosphere and decor are beautiful. When the chips came out warm, I knew I was in for a good night. We shared a combination fajita that came out fast and hot and had some of the most tender steak I’ve had on a fajita plate. Margaritas were great and our server, Angelica, was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

The service is lacking severely. Thank goodness for Lexus at the host stand. She was very sweet, fast, and helpful. However, our server, Kaegan, was not good at all. We did not see her enough to get refills and see about the food, I had to go get one of the other servers to find her. When she did tend to us, she was clueless about everything, and was not exactly welcoming. On top of this, I found a hair in my cheese dip as well.

Loved this place. Biggest tv screen I’ve ever seen watching the football game on it. Food was delicious and not too bad priced for as good as it was. Great drinks. Service was on point. We went two nights in a row because we were so impressed the first night. The second night the kitchen dropped the ball and took three times to get the order right but the manager came out personally and made it right and didn’t charge us for the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone!

i am highly disappointed with this service at el sombrero in mccomb. i attended with reviewer chroma valentine as well and had keagen as our server. she was not friendly, not quick, very clueless and overall unprofessional. towards the end when we were to get our checks a guest at my table had to flag another server down to find keagen as she was not circling to our table. once we found her she was at a table with two others, a girl and and boy who were vaping and drinking while she was on her phone (picture below, keagen in pink). the actual restaurant was very gorgeous but this incident really questions the interview process and how a business can allow such neglect in their restaurant.

Food was delicious and the folks were friendly. I ordered fajitas for two and one of their tamales dishes to go and the food was hot and fresh. Everything was well packaged and came with plenty of chips and dip. I loved the queso dip as well.

Called in order for an avocado salad (note not a single avocado on said salad) and a Texas dip. Got a half a bag of inedible chips for the dip. You’d think on a Saturday fresh chips would be served. Somehow that ended up being $26? Won’t be back. Waste of money
