I decided to check out The Boiling Crab on my own, and I’m really glad I did. First off, the quality of the seafood stood out immediately. At a lot of other places, you end up getting skinny crab legs or small shrimp that feel like an afterthought — but not here. Everything was a solid, satisfying size and clearly fresh. You could tell they don’t cut corners on portions or quality.

The service was also great. There was a bit of a wait when I arrived, but it honestly felt fast because the staff kept things moving efficiently. Once I was seated, I got everything I ordered quickly, and the whole process felt smooth. The team clearly knows what they’re doing — organized, attentive, and on top of things without being overwhelming.

Overall, it was a really good experience. Good food, good portions, and efficient service. Definitely worth the visit, and I’d come back again.

This place is truly spectacular. The service was amazing and the boil itself was so delicious. They serve by the lb and there are no combos. We had to take home but it was still delicious the next day.

I took my out of country guests and this was amazing experience for them.

Mannnnn what a good tasting pile of bugs !! I asked my waiter (Brooks) to bring me something he recommends and he brought a couple of pounds of crawfish with some shrimp and corn with the all in one sauce (don’t remember the name). Absolutely delicious ! . The service also was 5+ ⭐️. All the staff was very friendly, Erin an Brooks checked on me multiple times during the experience and even the manager (Edwin) came and chat with me for a while.
If you are in the area in the look out for some good seafood and southern hospitality, then this is it!

I ordered takeout, and when I got home opened it, I found that most of the shrimp were spoiled, the mussels and clams were mostly empty shells, and the oysters were less than 1 inch in size.
I feel ripped off and very disappointed with this restaurant. Hope I won’t get sick from this order.

We drove about an hour to eat here on a Friday night and waited about 45 minutes, not the restaurants fault it was busy. By the time we were seated we were a little worn out.

Once we sat down Sabrina took care of us and completely turned the night around. Her timing was perfect. She didn’t hover, gave us space to enjoy our food, and checked in at just the right moments. Drinks were refilled without us asking, and she made sure we had everything we needed without interrupting the experience.

Service like that makes a big difference after a long drive and wait. Sabrina was professional, attentive, and made the experience smooth from start to finish.

If you visit, ask for Sabrina she’s excellent at what she does.

We’ll definitely be back.

I just have to be honest. This was not a good experience for me.
I came in on a Wednesday afternoon, hoping to beat the weekend crowd and enjoy the food. We were greeted by a very helpful hostess and seated immediately, which was great. Unfortunately, that was the only great part about our visit.
Our waitress dropped limes on our table while taking our drink order, and once she left, we found the longest brown hair tangled around them. We asked her to take them away- she did. No apology, just picked the limes up off the table, and placed more down atop the now hair infected lime juice from before. yum!
Out of everyone at my table, I was the only one to get mussels- and I was bad off for it. They were INTENSELY gritty and tasted like they had been open or dead for a while. Frankly, they tasted like the green foam that collects under the pier at the beach.
The manager was kind and understanding and took my boil off the check. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return here and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. Super disappointed!

The crawfish was a good size and cooked extremely well, I like that all of their seafood comes out at the different times it takes to cook them well. That makes sure that all of the seafood is cooked to perfection and the sauce is always on point as well. My favorite seafood boil in Austin, and I’ve tried them all!

Stopped by on a cold monday evening to enjoy a seafood boil with my sisters as we do whenever possible since we live in different cities. We’ve been here a few times and really enjoyed our service with Brooks! He went above and beyond, was attentive and very good at anticipating our needs. The food was warm and perfectly cooked. Already excited for our next visit, especially if service is as good as Brooks’!

I had some time to kill, so I came in a Saturday around 4pm. I was told it was a 15-20 minute wait, but I was seated immediately at an outside table. So if there’s more than 1 of you, I’d recommend making a reservation or be prepared to wait for a table. Lisa took care of me and did a great job juggling several tables. I enjoyed the visit very much and am glad I stopped by. Definitely will come back with my family next time. I got the fried softshell crab, Cajun fries, and sweet tea. It was all on point.
