Ivy Tea Room was an absolutely amazing experience that exceeded our expectations. The décor is so original and beautiful—every detail feels special. My daughter and I truly enjoyed ourselves and made such wonderful memories together. The teas were excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The staff was very attentive and kind, which made the experience even better. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this place. We just happened to come across it during our road trip, and we will definitely be coming back anytime we’re in Albuquerque. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit, and we fell in love with this tearoom the minute we walked in. We’ve frequented other tearooms before, and this experience truly stood out from the rest. We especially appreciated that the price included tax and gratuity as it made everything feel seamless and stress-free.
We attended the Royal Tea event and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our server, Jasmine, was amazing, attentive, professional, and so warm throughout the entire experience. The private suite was such a special touch. We loved having uninterrupted time together, with Jasmine only coming in to deliver each course, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy one another’s company.
The venue was beautifully thought out and decorated for the theme. Every course captured the theme so creatively, and the quality of the food was phenomenal. The tea was delicious, I can’t even remember the name of each one, but we truly didn’t have a single tea that we didn’t love.
We will absolutely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

This place is AMAZING! Not only was the tea service perfectly paired with the seasonal nosh, the service was stellar! The staff was so friendly and inviting, each tea room was lavish and cozy. It all felt so posh! We were there for the Special Halloween menu, and everything was delightful! There is plenty of parking and the cutest little gift shop… The Ivy Tearoom will be my go-to! Highly recommend!

I had a lovely time at the Ivy Tearoom. I live out of town, but come to Albuquerque frequently for work. I usually try to visit the St James tea room, but I’ve seen the Ivy Tearoom on Google several times, so this time I decided to try Ivy instead.
This Tearoom is more modern themed. The outside is very pretty, and the individual tea rooms are very nice. Each one is decorated differently. I really liked the different wallpapered ceilings.
My food was delicious. I enjoyed everything. The price was very reasonable for what was offered. I appreciate that they include tax and tips in their prices, it just makes it easy to settle the bill. I missed having a more traditional scone option, but honestly everything tasted so good that by the end I probably wouldn’t have traded anything on the scone course for traditional one. The Butternut squash strata was particularly lovely. I loved the savory course as well. I’m not usually a fall flavors person, but I really enjoyed everything I was served.
I did change up the teas that were recommended. The staff was really nice about me asking for different pots than what came recommended. I enjoyed the atmosphere, out of the norm for a Tearoom which was a nice change. If I was local, I would have a hard time keeping myself from visiting both this place and St James every month to try the changing menus! I think one of their outdoor seating areas (heated bubbles) would be really enjoyable in winter.
I definitely recommend giving this Tearoom a try. Lovely food, modern atmosphere. Albuquerque is very lucky to have yet another really enjoyable option for afternoon tea!

Love that there is a second tea house in the city of Albuquerque! Absolutely love the seasonal menus and the fact you can change out any tea you do not like! A little confusing on the fact you can just get up and leave whenever after your dessert is served, but overall loved the privacy! Will definitely be returning!

We visited The Ivy Tea Room to celebrate my daughter’s Bridgerton-themed birthday, and the space was absolutely beautiful. The decorations were the highlight, and the large selection of teas made the experience feel special.
Our host was wonderful — she explained each tea, served three different teapots during the two-hour experience, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout.
A lovely touch was the celebratory drinks. I enjoyed a glass of champagne with edible glitter, and my daughters were served sparkling apple cider with glitter as well, which made the birthday feel extra special. While the tea room doesn’t provide birthday celebrations itself, they do offer add-ons to personalize the experience.
The food was enjoyable and nicely presented, though it leaned more simple than standout. The desserts were pleasant but limited in variety, and we were hoping for a bit more creativity for the theme.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place to visit for tea, and the atmosphere and service made the celebration feel memorable.

I am an avid tea room lover. There is a different location that is the same price that offers a much finer experience. I took my daughters to Ivys Nightmare Before Christmas themed tea in their igloo out front. (I want to say that I am writing this review in comparison to the other company) First off, walking in to the foyer, there was no one there to greet us. The other company has a few employees there to greet us, so this was kind of weird. After waiting for a bit, we were taken out to our private igloo. Upon entry, the theming was just items purchased from Spirit Halloween and taped to the walls. You literally could see the tape that was used to attach the paper bats to the walls. It definitely felt “cheap”. We chose out three teas, and the first course was served. It was the bread course. There were two options, and the cream was a vanilla cream “frosting” it was super light, and tasted good, but felt it didn’t match the bread at all. The tea was very bland. I don’t know if it didn’t steep long enough, but my girls thought it tasted like hot not very flavored water. The Suva was served in individual paper packets. The other company had the sugar in an actual sugar bowl. The bread was served in a chips and salsa witch hat. The first tea came in a very chipped witch souvenir tea pot. One of my girls had mentioned that it looked like it had been dropped. The next course was the meats and sandwiches. They were nothing memorable. At this point in the meal, we were melting. The igloo was cooking us. They had two little desk fans to help move the air, but it was soooo hot in there. I got up and opened the vents to help get the air moving. The third course was the dessert course. One of them was a little glass with a brownie mix brownie and the same vanilla cream that they served us earlier to use on the bread that came in the bread course. Nothing really stuck out about this part of the meal as well. The igloo is ours for 2 hours. And we were out of there in less than one. I don’t think I will be back. For the exact same price, I can got down the street and get a much nicer atmosphere, better theming, better quality tea, and over all a better experience.
